Link building strategies for new sites

August 30, 2010

So, you have a new website on a keyword-rich domain ( I hope) and you want to get it ranked ASAP…. But the common questions and valid concerns are… How many links is too much? How many UAWs should I write? Should I use any of the software or services recommended on this site you’re [...]

Build My Rank latest and greatest test

August 27, 2010

I did another review and test of Build My Rank again, this time I went over what the case study would be with Build My Rank owner, and outsourced everything to BMR’s staff for $2.00/credit, which is tantamount to $2.00/link. The reason we did things this way is to: make sure we’re using writers who [...]

Why LinkVana is no longer recommended

August 12, 2010

I recently updated the top rated link building services page, but figured I’d give an explanation on why the ratings changed. Linkvana was good for a really long time, but there’s better value to be had nowadays, with services like Backlink Solutions, Build My Rank and Article Ranks providing similar, sometimes even superior results and [...]

SE Nuke Alternatives

August 5, 2010

I’ve used SE Nuke several times AND for a while since I’ve had to cancel simply because it wasn’t a tool I was comfortable using and there’s plenty of SE Nuke alternatives out there anyways.

How to Get Backlinks Indexed

July 30, 2010

I see a lot of people wondering about how to get their self-generated backlinks indexed. Should you even bother trying to get backlinks indexed? Each backlink is an addition to your site portfolio. The more valuable or numerous your backlinks are, the better your portfolio, (generally speaking) Link building is an investment of your time [...]

Authority Link Network To Get Free Backlinks from High PR domains

July 25, 2010

Maulana from Link Builder Pro asked me to take a look at his fledgling link building network called Authority Link Network, so here’s the “scoop”. The network: 200 PR2 or higher domains (number goes up daily) The cost: Free…but you have to buy a domain from a list of domain auctions and add it to [...]

SEO Nitro opens it doors, too bad though!

July 22, 2010

I’ve heard of SEO Nitro before, but it was always a closed network.  And a network that keeps itself closed, it must be good, right? Judging from their sales letter, I’d have to state that this network is aimed at, and is used by, total noobs to this link building game. Not gonna get into [...]

Article Ranks updated review

July 5, 2010

Article Ranks looked good, and was highly recommended by people in the Warrior Forum War Room area so I tested this out for the last 30 days or so.

Does Deep Linker Pro Directory Submitter really do deep linking?

July 5, 2010

So, Deep Linker Pro by Josh Spaulding, what’s it do?

It does automated directory submissions, but the main reason I got this was for the deep linking. After all, the main url of most sites is what’s getting the most backlinks anyways, so why bother with anemic directory submissions links when you can switch focus over to automated backlinks via deep linking directory submissions?

My Link Club pure and skewed testing

July 4, 2010

UPDATE: Decided to reveal some other stuff we’re doing to test My Link Club out, despite not liking how they do things. (This could be one of the best bargains on the internet for hands-free link building if they perform well) I wrote a review on My Link Club that discussed some of the [...]

SEO Gurus Confusion, chapter 6,792

July 2, 2010

I’ve had some talks with some real knowledgeable SEO guys; guys who make a living providing SEO services… And yet…. There’s still experts disagreeing with each other on some fundamentals about SEO. Do links from irrelevant sites work towards building your rankings? YES ( I opine) , but some seo gurus say it’s not effective [...]

Combination services case study #2

July 1, 2010

This combination services case study is going to focus on medium level competition keywords like product/program/service names, which are inherently buying terms and/or phrases.

Combination services case study #1

June 29, 2010

A lot of people ask me what combination of services work really well together,  so I decided to do some case studies using more than one service at a time on a site, something I don’t generally do because I aim to keep my testing methodology valid. Good link building campaigns have multiple style links [...]
