I am by no means a professional guest blogger, if there is even such a thing… so these are just my opinions based on limited experiences thus far.

Since this site is about link building and SEO, the first part of this post is going to discuss what kind of link juice you can expect from doing guest blogging.

Most places that accept guest authors posts don’t have DoFollow outbound link attributes, therefore when you write a post and link back to your site somewhere usually you’re not getting max juice from those links.
