If you have to get just one service get Synnd, not just for social links but for all the other stuff you get access to. I’m not gonna get into all the bells and whistles here, but suffice to say, I’ve been testing them on and off for YEARS and they’re solid. Blog networks have come and gone, my sites have gone and gone along with the fates of those services and Synnd, and using Synnd-like methods has worked well for me.

Here are the link building services and link source types I recommend using all at the same time for effective link building:

Here’s what I recommend you do nowadays.

Get a mix of article backlinks, blog network backlinks, social backlinks, and high pr backlinks if they’re from a truly private network

Effective link building requires getting different types of backlinks and that’s what why you need multiple link building services nowadays… Too many people get too reliant on one blog network or only use one type of backlink source and that isn’t a recommended effective link building strategy…

You don’t always need all types of backlinks to rank well, not for all types of niches but it certainly doesn’t hurt, so please take the long-term view and treat link building as a long-term investment.

Here’s a vastly over simplified link building strategy to rank your websites.

Using decent-to-good link fodder content and widely varied anchor text,
Deep Link and Inner Link to all content on your sites using article marketing and social media signals.
Add in high page rank backlinks as budget allows, and don’t over-optimize your site content.

Social Signals, social links > to all urls on site
Article marketing services that mix up your anchor text for you> backlinks to all inner urls on sites

Bookmarking demon- don’t like it, temporary gains
SocialAdr, don’t like it
Tribe Pro heard good things, not tested yet
Forum offers that offer aged accounts giving these kind of links – didn’t like them they worked link link blasts and there’s no consistent maintained velocity so they didn’t work well

Article marketing submissions link building services

Backlink Banzai - I got great results using this service for medium competition terms, and it’s one of my favorite article marketing/link building services right now. It might get bumped up higher in recommendations list once harder keywords and search phrases are targeted, and hopefully ranked.

Very helpful, courteous people behind this service, hands-free, safe, Panda-proof link building service.

Downsides: You might not like the sales page, but results are what matter, right? Additionally they only allow 20 slots, AKA 20 different keywords and urls to be targeted within one account, so if you have more than that, you will need to get additional account made, ordered..with them. Not a huge deal, really, but it’d be nice to order a 40 urls/slots account rather than having to order 2 separate accounts.

Update, and correction: You can target multiple keywords and search phrases per slot in BB, and it’s not 1 slot =1 keyword, sorry if I misled you there

One final downside, sort of... I haven’t tested them out for really hard keywords and phrases yet, so I’m telling you this so you don’t expect miracle

Upsides: This is a hands-free, hands-off Panda-proof link building service, they make it real easy for you to avoid over-optimization, meaning that you help you avoid over-use of anchor text-ing in your inbound linking. The tiered linking works great, it’s powerful, and safe.

Am I using it? Yes, used it for 2, going on 3 months at the time of this writing, and just ordered my second account with them, to test out harder keywords
