I've never been a fan of the whole social media "thing" because I always thought it was a waste of time and energy with little SEO benefits to be had. But Facebook and Twitter are becoming more important than ever and cannot and should be ignored as part of your overall SEO strategy. My opinion on Content Buzz? Now that all the vanilla fluff details about CB are out of the way, what's Content Buzz good for and who needs it and who should use it? If you do any video marketing or podcasting then this is a worthwhile service to get. The social bookmarking aspect is great for what it's worth but social bookmarking links will only do so much for you, really. SB links are mostly NoFollow nowadays but they can be effective if you're getting enough of them, so really, social bookmarking for effective link building is largely dependent on getting a lot of links, which means creating a lot of profiles. Part of my focus for this site was to mainly review link building services, provide some link building tips, and then let people make their decision and kick butt with their sites. I realize there are some standalone link building tools that do a decent job of obtaining backlinks and these don't have monthly fees, just one-time fees for something that usually takes more of your time and is less effective that paid services, so be it, that's why the monthly services are monthly fees, they save you time and you're leveraging huge networks usually..
