How to effectively build links to lots of sites at once

in Link building Tips

I seem to be answering the same question over and over again. WTF?  (What’s the FAQ?)

“How do I build links to lots of sites at once and make them rank?”

MY answer:

You don’t…

Start with your best performing site SERPs or income-wise and get some link velocity going towards it and work at it steadily until rankings improve, then put that site on your link building maintenance program, ie. get a less aggressive yet steady amount of backlinks to it to keep it ranked.

Then move on to site #2, 3,4,5,6 all the way up to 150 or whatever

And at some point you’ll have more sites making money and ranking better, LESS sites to build aggressive link velocity for, and maybe even establish a sense that you are getting out form under all these sites and are in control of your mini seo empire.

Also, if you have a lot of sites you MUST realize that not all of them will be winners so be prepared to abandon them, sell them or just know that some sites and niches will never amount to much of anything for you, it’s a fact of life.

Just want to thank you for your solid reviews on link building services. But I was wondering if you had any experience with some of those link building services in Warrior Forums. It would be great to hear what you think of them.

Hey Raymond, thanks for stopping by.

I’ve bought some WSOs that were basically link building link wheels packages and they didn’t do much of anything for me. In my opinion if service is really that good, then their owners would take their service to the mainstream and not limit themselves to selling to clueless noobs who don’t really understand how to assess the effects and/or how to be realistic with expecations of services.

Hi Daniel

What is a healthy amount of links to be getting on a weekly basis over 2 months. For instance is it okay to create links every single day (and what is a healthy maximum) and should there be 3-5 day breaks in between?

This question stems mostly from using multiple link building service. At some days you could do 5 links with one and another day 10 with the other. i.e if by chance the link building overlapp what would be the safe amount and how how many days should these be spread out. (20 links on 2nd day of month then nothing until 30th of the month?)

Jose, the situation varies from site to site and niche to niche and I think it’s best if you just read this post I wrote on link velocity to get a better explanation of things, and how you should proceed.

Short answer is… get as many kinds of different links all at same time, try to keep it random and at all costs, maintain some momentum, just don’t stop

Hello,

I’m brand new to this linkbuilding stuff, so my question might sound a little stupid.
I found a lot of guys who can submit “create” 1000 backlinks for $10, but the question is: do I have to trust them? I the websites where they place the links have poor PR and small amount of traffic will help my website grow?

Thank you in advance for your answer,
Silviu

10k links for $10.00 sounds like an xrumer blast or mass social bookmarking links… If the destination url doesn’t have any links to it already, and if you get all of the 10k links in very short time span and don’t have an established consistent linking velocity, then the results will be minimal, at best

hi Daniel,
are you making any xrumer reviews any time soon ?

ta

best regards

I contacted an Xrumer service about this but they don’t respond to emails so will have to find other places to go to test this out, but yes, I will be doing more xrumer testings, but on a smaller scale, less links, lower competition levels, to ensure some benefits are seen

Daniel, any experience or reviews about the WPBlackhat membership?

Nope, none but considered it.

In my opinion, getting access to lots of tools, tips and strategies doesn’t make up for what a good established network or service can do for you

Thanks for your thoughts. If you could only afford one service and had multiple sites to promote, which one would you go with?

Daniel, I am interested in hearing your response to KC’s question as well. I have been working on a micro niche network recently and would like to know which link building service will give me the most bang for my buck when spread across a hundred or more websites with low competition.

I have and am using SEnuke but would like to add something else to the mix. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks

This post, if you haven’t read it yet, should help with your micro-niches network, if you plan to build them for purpose of getting a mothership main site higher-ranked.

What service would I use to get hundreds of sites linked and ranked?

Since I don’t have 100s of sites I can’t answer that authoritatively, which is why I recommend that people start with a few sites to get them higher-ranked first, then put them into maintenance linking mode to keep those rankings, and move on to the next dozen or so sites.

If you had 5 microniche sites, I’d use BLS for main domain and inner pages of medium kw competition, LinxBoss for main domain urls of tough competition, UAW for everything

Daniel McGonagle June 28, 2010 at 9:44 pm

UAW, simply because it’s cheaper and you can do a lot on the back end to make it work even better that it does “out of the box”

Keep an eye out for cheap hosting deals with operators you haven’t signed up for before. Ones that allow for a speedy site build (perhaps have “one click” WP install for example) and allow you to host several or unlimited number of domain.

I budget just £30 per month on hosting, that brings me 8 hosting accounts. I alternate which acocunt is the “main” for each campaign and use any number of the others as support.

My main niche (a real product with a 4 figure price tag) I have gone a step further and bought “extras” with wordpress.com, blogger, blog.com and livejournal. For a few bucks a year you can (in most of these cases) have your own domain name, remove existing advertising and add you own. If the niche is worth it, then these sites are brilliant 1st tier.

Yes – all this is content intensive, but just get writing. Set aside an afternoon to write 20,000 words….Site finished.

Do you think Google finds and likes the ton of unique content you’ve put on blogger blog that you’ve paid for?
