Hey Robert, that's sort of like a quick time G slap when you get a burst then that burst of links stops.

This also occurs when there's NO google Dancing going on for your SERPs and they're steady, but not getting backlinks, then just a few backlinks could cause the temporary decrease in SERPs. It really does stink whenever you see this happening, but the more you see it the less worried you get because you know from experience that it probably means new links are hitting that URL

Daniel, thanks for the information. I have come across the situation you are talking about. I had a bunch of backlinks that came in at once and it dropped my SERP way down, but a few weeks later it came back strong.

Hey Shelby, glad to hear that BL Sis working for you. The only complaint sI ever got about that services/my recommendation was during the times they were upgrading their site and ran into some technical issues.

And yes, as long as you maintain link velocity/pace your rankings will settle, then "bounce" as the URLs vie for higher rankings.

Thanks,

Dan

Great post Daniel, It seems to me as long as you keep your link building efforts to a slow steady stream or wait a while your site's ranking will eventually even out.

By the way thanks for suggesting Backlink Solutions it's working great for me right now along with some other link building strategies.

Thanks for reducing my worries about not finding my pages in the serps as often as I would like. I think that I am just not patient enough :)

Hi

You've addressed just the point I'm worried about. I've been wondering about backlinking apps, but, to tell you the honest truth I am rather wary to go ahead with it - even just once.

I have yet to decide on whether or not to put my toe in the water.
