Link Dozer + all that it does – Link Dozer review Pt.2

in Link Dozer

In part one of this review on Link Dozer, I gave some background information on what Link Dozer does, but here are some specifics.

  • does creation of social bookmarking accounts
  • does creation of video profile accounts
  • does creation of blog user accounts for WPMU-like blogs for posting content on other’ sites as guest authors
  • does creation of sub-domains on WPMU-like sites for posting to “your own blog”

This might look like the usual  hodge-podge of stuff you get with SE Nuke, EVO II, Web2Mayhem etc…but here’s where the differences lie between Link Dozer and the rest of the services.

  1. Link Dozer has the ability to create a TON of content that is highly unique and “correct”.
  2. Link Dozer can post this content to close to 1000 places
  3. Your syndicated content in most instances will be seen as original, unique and top quality content, not the usually spun-tent that makes no-sense you can expect from other spinners used by other services.
  • SENuke doesn’t give you much of an action plan or easy to follow step-by-step videos
  • Web2MAyhem does, which is good
  • Not sure about EVO II since I’ll never buy another Peter Drew product or service again due to trying Brute Force Linking Loophole and BadAssRSS fiascos
  • Link Dozer gives you strategy first and foremost and the software itself will help keep you organized.
  • Web2Mayhem had me going all over the place to use different tools and logins and what-not…and that got me pretty disorganized quickly.
  • SE Nuke is a self-contained standalone tool and really good for achieving top rankings for medium to low competition terms ( that’s why the software has a competition checker)
  • In my opinion if your tool or service is any good then you really don’t have any competition so screw the competition checkers!

The real reason that Link Dozer MIGHT blow every other service mentioned here out of the water:

Writing,...even prolific writers hate to write when they’re forced to constantly  “get more articles out there”.

With all the non-Link Dozer services mentioned here, you will either have to scrape or import seed articles, then spin them prior to submissions, then you’ll have to go through the submissions processes hoping nothing breaks down.

LD has some truly advanced content spinning software that will make it easy to instantly create hordes of unique top quality articles once you’ve done the initial set up steps to get this under way for you (can’t say any more than that, but think of what that piece of crap Mass Article Control was supposed to do, then imagine if it really worked well, that’s what Link Dozer can and does do).

More reasons why Link Dozer MIGHT blow every other service mentioned here out of the water:

  • Access to a huge network of quality sites to post content on
  • A constantly self-growing network of sites
  • community helps each other out in ways that cannot be revealed here but it is could be very powerful
  • Organization and action plans superior to SE Nuke, Web2Mayhem (and EVO II from what I hear)

You can get Link Dozer here through my affiliate link, for which I will be compensated.

If you want to wait until I have some concrete testing results from this and an official recommendation, I will have a downloadable PDF available in the near future.

However, Kristina Saric from Link Dozer claims there will be a 300-member limit to Link Dozer.  I’m not sure if this is a scarcity tactic though.  If you want to wait for my results, please know that this software requires some tech-savviness to understand then use it so final results might be a few weeks from the time of this posting.

UPDATE: My 1st article went out and tons of pingbacks and trackbacks and what-not but not too many of the syndicated content pieces are indexed, so that’s a useless false positive thing; the flurry of trackbacks.

So far, not so good for Link Dozer for my article test.

On the other hand I saw someone else who I do not know using Link Dozer and:

They sent out an article out yesterday
One site that I saw indexed it same day within minutes
The URL being linked to in his article is page 1

Obviously he didn’t get pushed up to page 1 in 5 minutes of the articles being published but here’s a LD user who’s got stuff on page 1 for a decent number of terms.  I found some more of his articles and he’s either page 1 or 2 for most of his stuff.

Right now I am pinging and social bookmarking the URLs that my first article was syndicated to, to make sure they’re all indexed and maybe my destination urls will be page 1 as well.

Final Verdict and opinion:  It’s more of a slow and steady traffic generation tool than it is a heavy duty link building tool.  It’s safe, secure and the methods work, but the learning curve is un-necessarily high in my opinion and the anti-automation “bias” here doesn’t seem to be warranted (automation has it’s value and far better to automated safely than to struggle with learning curves having to do with manual processes than end sup wasting people’s time anyways…when they quit after 3-4 weeks of struggling with the software).

Link Dozer DOES NOT get a thumbs down vote, nor doe sit get a thumbs UP vote.  I think Kristina needs to realize that the learning curve for MOST people is kinda ridiculous, even though some people DO get it right away.  Some tests I’ve done have shown that not everything submitted gets indexed, and for some other tests that were done, indexed articles providing backlinks didn’t do much to increase rankings.

So WTF is Link Dozer good for????

Safely and reliably building an empire of websites and resources you can post your content to, and the content on those sites’ page, IF you were able to syndicate things properly (after struggling with the spinner), those article son all those websites will rank for some long tail terms and even some medium tail terms(I’ve seen this with my own eyes) and that smattering of long tail traffic will end up driving traffic to your main sites.

However, if you can’t get the spinner to produce tomes oh highly unique and readable material, then it won’t work well at all.

If you DO decide to get Link Dozer:

  • Be prepared for a learning curve most folks aren’t comfortable with
  • Be prepared for a slow and steady increase in traffic
  • Do NOT expect huge linking power from this
  • Expect safe, slow and steady results (as measured by traffic increases, not rankings increases)

@Elbert, @Dan, thanks for the feedback, very useful. Sounds like the results thus far are somewhat inconclusive. But if there is a benefit, seems it will likely be in the long term. I will be interested to hear how your tests progress.

Is LD intended to be a complete system, or does it require the support of other tools? In other words, some tools are for article submissions, some for submitting to blog networks, others for social bookmarking, etc. I get the impression LD is supposed to be a self-contained system and that you shouldn’t need any other tools. How accurate is that?

Also, is it automated once it is set up?

LD is far from automated, it’s more of an SEO organizer, traffic generation method form what I see. While not 100% automate,d it could keep you organized and cut down on a lot of time spent doing the menial stuff

Just a small update since my last post… since the beginning of April, my second site is doing pretty well. It pretty much surpassed its previous month’s total traffic. Not bad really. Also, that keyword I was trying to rank is back to page 2.

Yeah, LD is intended to be a complete system, based on what Kristina said so you shouldn’t be needing any other tools. For now, it’s pretty complete. You have everything you need to get started… however, there will be more upgrades and improvement on some of the tools to make it better.

What do you mean by automated? There some part of the LD that is pretty much automated, while some part you need to do it manually.

What Dan said. Pretty much at this point, I don’t see LD much of a SEO tool, its more of a manager for organizing all the SEO where you have to do manual proper SEO and LD allows you to facilitate that for you. You’re pretty much trying to create powerful backlinks and creating great resources for yourself so you can reuse them again. Pretty much thinking in long-term here.

Anyways, I have come to concluded that people are probably better off using other link building services, such as Linxboss, UAW, BLS, TLJ, Linkvana, ezarticlelink etc. especially if you’re looking to build hundreds or thousands of links automated, easy, and results as soon as possible.

LD can do that but unlike majority of these services, it’s literally, complete different Juggernaut here. Its not suppose to do it for you automatically, you have to do it yourself and with proper SEO. You also need to plan yourself as to how/why you use LD, there are no step-by-step guides on how to use it. It’s built to be a flexible SEO manager on what you plan to do with it.

It also take time to set things up, and your end results will depend on your SEO campaign and how well you done it, your content, your blogs, the links, etc. It is well-spun? Natural looking? Content written well? Does it look good, and so on…

It’s really not for everybody especially those that are looking for automation and burst of link power. If you’re looking for a service to save you time and money to automate build hundreds of links then this isn’t for you.

Elbert, thanks again for keeping this up to date, and giving us the inside scoop on everything, it’s appreciated

Yep… I think it’s a much better explanation about what LD is than the sales page. It’s great for building authority sites, and ranking for competitive keywords, because of its long-term usage and giving a bit of stability on your rankings.

Thanks Daniel. I went ahead and started with Link Juicer. It looks promising for my large number of sites (I have to take that into consideration for each tool). I started on a 5 day trial of Linkvana, only to realize there is no way I can create that much unique content to make it worthwhile. Now, creating high quality ultra-spun content, that works for me.

Thanks for your reviews and recommendations. I have yet to find a better site for real reviews of these tools, so keep up the good work. You do a good job of balancing the need for affiliate plugs (guy’s gotta eat) and some solid recommendations. I look forward to your comments going forward and will be an avid reader. Also, if I sign up, I will be sure to use your affiliate links in appreciation of your comments and reviews. In my opinion, you are definitely earning your keep. Keep it real…please!…There is so much crap out there, it is quite difficult to find a legitimate opinion. Thanks a bunch!

Brad, thanks a bunch, I get some real gratification from doing this and yes a guy’s gotta eat, but people will still look for bonuses and what-not when they don’t really need them, it’s the aff marketing niche nature I guess. I don’t offer bonuses unless really necessary, and people who come here for a REAL review then look elsewhere for people offering bonuses and the types that are looking to get absolute maximum for minimal output and from my experience they never stick with anything long enough to succeed.

Not sure why I just went on that “bonuses” rant, but you can be assured that being an affiliate doesn’t sway my opinion on things.

Thanks for the feedback (and the trust),

Dan

I guess I’ll do another update since it’s been a while from my last one. There’s really not much to say except the links I’m building in LD is still sticking.

I’m now promoting like 5 different sites now and yes, they all have increased in traffic flow, slowly, didn’t noticed much from the first 1-2 months, until the third month. All traffic from Google. Pretty much the same as my first site, which is still doing well for a 10 pages site.

Now all that matter is my on-page content for my other sites…

Elbert, thanks for coming back with an update, appreciate it! :) Would you say that Link Dozer is more of a stable traffic generation tool than a link building tool?

Reply

10 Elbert August 13, 2010 at 1:13 am

It’s pretty much both. Traffic generation/link building… more leaning toward link building.

As of right now(August)… I wouldn’t recommend LD until the updates comes… which maybe next year or next month, who knows.

The network just gotten worse since your last test, too much crap contents and dups. They won’t disappeared until the updates. Blah.(Not sure how she will clean up the network though…)

Ah sorry to hear that Link Dozer is still struggling (in my opinion anyways). I’m still waiting for it to be more user friendly, because there’s only a small percentage of people like yourself Elbert, who will “get it” right away, meaning that the total inner workings of the system are easily implemented.

I think just the fact that it keeps track of all your accounts alone is a huge time saver. I have found Link Dozer to be the best tool out there and I have wasted a lot of money on a lot of tools. It is pricey though at $97 a month, but thinking long term, well worth it.
