Link Emperor Review, Case Study and Best Practices Guide

Link Emperor review, and some of what Link Emperor does and offers:

Link EmperorOn-page optimization suggestions- this is more important than ever these days, the on-page SEO, and I’ve always wanted to see a service that makes suggestions and points out some mistakes people made on their sites that might be hurting their ranking efforts.

Article Generation and PLR database for using as basis for seed articles and link fodder

Keyword research service- nothing out of this world, not super-superior to other keyword research software out there in the marketplace, but it does make life easier to have most if not all the tools you need for SEO under one “roof”

Link lists- you get reports of all links built

More importantly to link builders, Link Emperor offers link velocity, link volume, and automation

Article links, web 2.0 links, wiki links, press releases, private blog network links and so on…

Link Emperor Case Study- we published a Link Emperor case study and made it available available inside Marketer’s Relief, and there will be a brand new one coming out in a month or two for re-assessment and re-evaluation purposes, but as of right now the case study isn’t publicly available except through Marketer’s Relief back office and/or url mentioned in the Link Emperor Best Practices guide.

Some of the things learned from the case study have to do with structuring link tiers, what really makes for a sticky link, when to build new tier chains, and how deep to build the tiers, and all of this is covered in the Best Practices guide.

Link Emperor Best Practices Guide- This is an 8-page guide detailing things learned from the case study and from subsequent campaigns using and not using Link Emperor.

There’s an updated and somewhat specific introduction to some terms people get confused by when they think of tiered links, and how deep tiers should be and it sort of shows us how all these telltale link pyramids using link types as tiers is just plain wrong.

For example, Primary and Secondary links, what they are, WHY they are Primary or Secondary links and once again, why link types such as articles or web 2.0s shouldn’t be placed into a certain spot in a link chain based on it’s link type.

Are social links tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, or tier 4s links or all of the above, or none of the above, or something else entirely?

Same question for article links, blog network links, press releases and so on.

Where’s the usual 3-months-long, in-depth review I usually do with case study to go along with it?

I’ve recommended services to a lot of people over the past few years, and there are still people who come back and say, “this service stinks, it ruined my site, my rankings” etc.. and I know (all humility aside) that I probably know more about how to use these services properly than most people.. so it might be better to do more how-to-use-XYZ-service effectively stuff.

What’s so special about building hordes of crap links with Link Emperor, didn’t this crap-link-o-mation go bye-bye with the last 2-3 algorithm updates?

I don’t really want to get into an anti-G rant but suffice to say that after some algo updates came to light, I went white-hat, then I got fed up seeing such slow results from pure white-hat for months on end (massive quality content creation and publication, directory listings, and so forth) and decided I’d rather churn and burn than wait 3 years for results that might get wiped out in an unforeseen new algo update that might boost me up or down in the SERPs.  BTW, a lot f pure white-hatters got wiped out with Penguin, don’t forget that!

I’ve seen people doing above-board irreproachable seo tactics like branding themselves out the kazoo, and while it was a new experience to see the other side of the SEO world (the white-hatters) that novelty wore thin once we saw slow results for following Google best practices.

I’ve also heard from people on my Skype that are still doing the Google best practices and getting nowhere, while people doing NO off-page SEO at all with NEW sites and getting great rankings and traffic with no link building.

Link velocity and tiered linking done consistently and properly with some smart techniques and mechanisms as described and detailed in the Link Emperor Best Practices guide will do more for your sites and rankings than sitting on your hands wondering when the search engine love will reveal itself.

It’s super-important to me that you get the guide we’ve prepared for you so you see best results with Link Emperor.  Even if you join then bail out on the service for whatever reason, this guide will give you a quick understand and clarification on building link tiers properly and effectively and you can apply this towards whatever service or tool you end up using in the future.

Daniel was kind enough to let me have this eBook free of charge.

Quick Review:
I´ve been using LE for 2+ months now so i know their system pretty well. Even with my knowledge the book gave my new ideas to deploy which i didn´t use & think of myself.

LE is very powerful if used correctly. With their power and tips from Daniel it´s a great match.

Very simple eBook that goes straight to the point, no bull!

Daniel have 1 suggestion for you, the link allocation setting in LE is what controls what type of links you want. It would be good for new people starting with LE to have a practical example of what kind of setup you use for 1st, 2nd, 3th tiers..

My Rating 4.9/5

The review in MR was very well put together and I appreciate receiving the guide. How do I get in contact in with Troy about asking him a question regarding the review? I’m trying to find out what software he used to illustrate rankings. It appears comments are turned off for some odd reason and there is not way to contact other members. Thanks.

I asked Tory to turn comments off because some people were getting nasty and I don’t feel like getting sucked into that back-and-forth convo. I’ll ask him if he wants to turn them back on. We tried to put together a guide that covered all the important aspects so as to cut down on questions, but obviously we didn’t cover everything.

To sort of answer your question, any ranking tracking software will do, really

I’ll get an answer for you from him on exactly what he used

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan,

Thanks for this, it really looks like a cool service and I appreciate you doing this research.

I’m not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but hopefully you will see this because I am very curious to here your thoughts… So- Services like this, and Backlink Banzai etc… are great for velocity, diversity, tiers etc… But what do you recommend as far as the best place to get high PR links, like the real heavy hitters?

I’ve tried asking in forums, but 90% of those offered to me look pretty whack and now I am at the point where I want to invest in some power links, but am unsure where to get ‘em. So if you have any insights on this I’d love to hear them and perhaps other readers would too…

Thanks!

PS. Also, I wanted to add that I started with SEO about 2 years ago, and the info I’ve gotten from your site has been instrumental in building a sweet income!! So thanks so much man!

Hey Jake, thanks and you’re welcome :)

Lots of ways to get high pr links

Buy text links based on PR and low OBL counts (direct sales or text link brokers style)

Buy expiring domains with natural links TO them and build small, real mini-sites on them to preserve the PR, and use wayback machine methods to try and recreate the sites as they once were prior to the purchase of the expiring or dropped domains

Reclaim abandoned virtual real estate like tumblr and blogspot accounts and so forth and make them your own entities serving up and out some high pr links

Give away widgets that give back links from widget-using sites’ home page links

Creating a slew of solid PR0s and sending juice to them to make them into higher PR links

Guest blogging on high PR domains, and waiting for your PR0 guest posts to gain PR in next update via glomming off the root domain of the site you guested on and/or sending links to your guest posts..

Fiverr gigs- which are usually just scrapebox blasts sent out to abandoned urls with 100s of comments on them (low value stuff and risky to say the least)

I appreciate the feedback. I liked how it showed the current/previous rankings status and search volume. Reminded me of microsite masters. Your comment about reclaiming blogspot and tumblr is very interesting. Do you know of any resources about reclaiming blogspots accounts? Only way I can think of at the moment would be to have the current owner add a user account (mine) and delete the original account or somehow transfer it over to a different gmail account. This is assuming the original owner is able to be contacted. I’ve run across A LOT of blogspot accounts where I wondered how I could obtain them.

Sad to see linkvana so devoid of new posts and people having discussions these days. Nearly a month since anything new.

I check back frequently hoping for that “old spark” of new ideas, new information & strategies, and people chatting it up. Seems Dan is a bit too busy to keep this site alive and thriving like it once was; not that I can blame him. Google has thrown me for a loop and I’m still working around the clock to recover even slightly

I guess I’m just bummed out because Dan’s advice/tactics/reviews helped me take a $1500 a month model to a $10,000 a month model. Since google changed the locks to the mansion this year…. I’ve since dropped back to my “pre-dan advice” days and am sorely missing his guidance and spot on reviews.

Anyways, I’ll keep checking back for new updates and discussions. Here’s to hoping that Dan is working on a mega-blockbuster of a post that will blow us all away and give us the keys to the kingdom once again!

Hey Sean, thanks for the vote of (no?) confidence! :)

Lots of algo changes these days, more so than ever it seems like. I’m trying NOT be the guy who writes about the latest algo and what it means because everyone’s doing that and people seem to just believe what they want anyways.

What I’m doing these days is focusing on some business models in and out of the SEO realm and it makes me feel like a noob again…

Yes, this site has been sorely lacking of good new hard-hitting take-it-home info, and I wish I had more to share but the latest slew of algos pretty much destroyed the way things were in the past (new network, new links good/bad review join /don’t join).

Nowadays it seems like going social and getting trusted authoritative links works, but going high velocity low-quality still works, too but so many people are scared of high-velocity low-quality now, and so many others don’t want to wait 6 months for low velocity, high quality white-hat to work, so… After so many years of doing this (and seeing networks and methods come and go), I don’t want to be the Pied Piper of link building reviews, and I’d rather let the site suffer in silence so to speak rather than publish for publication’s sake.

I also got engaged :) , bought some investment real estate :) , killed off about a dozen testing sites, and gained 50 pounds since my knee surgery :(

Not sure if a blockbuster post is forthcoming though, seems like Google’s main product (search) is on the decline quality-wise and they’re biting off their nose to spite their face with all these algo updates.

G search is on a decline, their Places is a mess, they’re taking over more and more of Page 1 (w/ places, PPC, and other entities) and it seems like there’s a shoving contest going on whereby SEO-ers are being relegated to the realm of long-tail land unless they’re branded and authoritative sites.

Sorry, the page with the download was redirecting to an image. It’s fixed and everybody should have their guides. Let us know if you didn’t receive it.
