in Link Racer

OK, a couple of things about Link Racer that should be most important you you, after results of course:

1- It’s easy to use

2- You get a limited number of submissions per month

25 articles to 500 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $25.00
25 articles to 1000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $35.00
40 articles to 2000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $50.00
40 articles to 3000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $65.00
40 articles to 4000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $75.00
40 articles to 5000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $85.00

Results and tests:

7 URL/Anchor text combos tested here, the other 7 are private due to writer/tester wanting their results to remain private.

Some urls were not ranked at all for the terms, some had existing inbound linking activity, and some links were devoted to a test I’m doing, link to that idea is referenced below in this post

1- Anchor kw/url

Leaving this one blank because it’s a test I’m doing that will take a while to prove itself as viable, has to do with indented ezinearticles.com articles, idea is referenced in the post on how to get more backlinks from article marketing

2- Anchor kw/url (Link Dozer)

  • Before Link Racer submission – Page 7 for term
  • 1 week after submission – Page 4
  • UPDATE: Page 3

3- Anchor kw/url

Leaving this one blank because it’s a test I’m doing that will take a while to prove itself as viable, has to do with indented ezinearticles.com articles, idea is referenced in the post on how to get more backlinks from article marketing

4- Anchor kw/url (link building tips)

  • Before Link Racer submission – page 1 # 7
  • 1 week after submission – page 1 # 6

5- Anchor kw/url (automated link building)

  • Before Link Racer submission – top of page 3
  • 1 week after submission – bottom of page 2, and rising
  • UPDATE: Bottom of page1

6- Anchor kw/url

Before Link Racer submission -url has Pr1, not in first 20 pages

1 week after submission – same, not much expected here, yet

7- Anchor kw/url

Before Link Racer submission -url has Pr1, not in first 20 pages

1 week after submission – same, not much expected here, yet

Bottom line:

No bottom line, yet…. but submissions are limited,  and results always take time.

No idea if these submissions are staggered, drip-feed, spun or scheduled

Next month when we get more submissions we will repeat the submissions process (same url/anchor text combinations) and see what happens.

Other Notes:

EzineArticles web 2.0 properties, authority sites, site with lots of inbound links, and urls that already have linking momentum usually respond really well to backlinks.

The more positive (and promising) results from this Link Racer review and testing came from URL/Anchor text #2 and URL/Anchor text #5.

URL/Anchor text #2 is an EZA (ezinearticles.com) article.  As mentioned above, these types of web real estate usually respond well to backlinks, however, it should be noted that this EZA currently had no backlinks to it prior to using Link Racer, and it didn’t rank well for the term all by itself so maybe I didn’t do a good job optimizing the EZA for the keywords/keyphrase I wanted it to rank well for by itself, without backlinks.

Therefore, it may take 1-3 Link Racer submissions to get this to page 1 and again, this is a test designed to see how a URL with NO backlinks, residing on an authority site that’s normally very receptive to backlinks fares…

The other positive sign was URL/Anchor text #5 which was an article on this blog you’re on now, which generally responds well to quality links, too. The history of this url is as follows:

The term was link building tips and the inbound linking history here was it started off at page 8, then some BLS links got it to page 5, some UAW submissions got it to page 2, and then I quit working on it and just got links to it the lazy way, by using EZArticleLink to get automatic links to it, and this pushed it up to page 1, at the position it resided at ( page 1, #7) prior to testing Link Racer out.

Advice for those thinking about joining Link Racer:

This isn’t for heavy-duty users/link builders since it only allows for 15  submissions per month and as early indicators suggest, you’ll need to work the same 15 urls per month in order to get desired results/rankings.  Don’t read too much into the “15 articles to 350 sites” feature, since I’ve yet to see ANY service that has a 100% or even a 50% rate for link stickiness and links to your links getting or remaining indexed…

UPDATE: After speaking to Link Racer affiliate manager Chris, I’ve come to find out that Link Racer has an even more powerful feature for heavy-duty link builders whereby you can get:

25 articles to 500 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $25.00
25 articles to 1000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $35.00
40 articles to 2000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $50.00
40 articles to 3000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $65.00
40 articles to 4000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $75.00
40 articles to 5000 sites. Drip fed over the course of a month – $85.00

After speaking with Chris, I offered suggestions on how to make this network an everlastingly effective service to use by:

  • incorporating social media outlets for syndication, see post on Twitter Link Wheels for more detailed information
  • adding RSS singular feed files submissions features for indexing power of the articles syndicated to this network, see post on RSS submissions for more details on this.
  • getting links from RSS scrapers indexed by possibly using this automated link building tool
  • And some tips on how to organize the spinning features they have coming out soon

Month 2 with Link Racer, results and final review (coming next month)
