LinkVana is no longer recommended. Too pricey, especially considering when networks like Build My Rank cost less have higher indexing rate, and for a lot less (did I mention that?) Build My Rank Case Study here
This LinkVana Review will show you why and how LinkVana works, plus tell you a bit about link building that Dave Kelley, the owner of LinkVana taught me.
Firstly, what is LinkVana?
LinkVana is a one-way link building service utilizing a network of blogs that serve as places that link back to your specified sites. You write short 100-word articles, or have LinkVana’s author write them for you and then they’re automatically posted on some sites at a recommended interval level or 1 a day, every 2 days, 3 days, once a week or even manually.
What is so special about LinkVana? 2 things in particular stand out about LinkVana’s service:
#1- The network of blogs that are linking back to you have plenty of link juice (more incoming than outgoing links) therefore their links carry more weight, SEO-wise. Any blog in their network that is serving as a link to yours will have a PageRank of at least 2, sometimes even a PR of 4.
#2- Their writing service is excellent because you can pay to have articles written for you for only $2.00, so this means your link building can be totally automated but in an extremely effective and time-effective way.
The Clincher for me was that the writers are writing LSI-style posts for you should you decide to use them, which means they’re using theme and niche-relevant keywords in their articles while linking to your site amidst the article content.
This is a pretty powerful service to have at your disposal because hardly anyone knows what LSI is, never mind knowing how to write for it, if such a thing can be done. The way they “write LSI-style” is they use words associated text and terms in their articles and aren’t just placing your link at the bottom of the article like an article directory would do, but placing your backlink amidst the text of the article where it would seem most natural to a search engines that sees it.
The bad thing about LinkVana:
It costs $147.00/month but deservedly so. This puts it out of the price range for many marketers, and it’s my recommendation that you have at least 5-10 sites that would definitely benefit from increased rankings before using it.
Too many people jump into using LinkVana without realizing that it’d be better for them if they just proved out their monetization methods before trying to increae their traffic via better rankings.
In other words, make sure your sites are converting before joining LinkVana, and make sure you have at least 5-10 sites that merely need increased SERPS in order for your income to improve.
With LinkVana you’re getting high-powered, LSI-style, automated links from sites with linkjuice and PageRank.
Therefore you don’t need a lot of links to rank well using this method, you just need enough good links to rank well. Ask any professional SEO guy or gal and they’ll tell you that a few of the right links can do just as much for you as hundreds even thousands of less valuable links.
One last thing about using LinkVana or any other type of link building service:
Make sure you did your research first and have properly done the ON-PAGE optimization for the pages you want to get links to because even though link building and off-page optimization factors still seem to play a more important role in ranking your pages well, you still need to help your link building efforts as much as possible by creating properly names page titles, and still use meta tags, even though they’re less valued nowadays.
My LinkVana results?
I actually stopped using it once I reached the top for the SERPs for my targetted terms. The beauty of LinkVana is that I realized that nothing is really out of reach for me as far as getting ranked well in the search engines.
Using LinkVana made me realize I was going after low-hanging fruit, SEO-wise because it worked far batter than I thought. So I redesigned all my sites, re-thought my site monetization techniques and will begin to start using them again once I have tested out my site monetization methods even more thoroughly than before.
LinkVana even helped me make some money with some Adsense sites, and here’s a tip for you…
If you’re doing Adsense and your income is directly related to your sites’ ranking, then LinkVana is the answer for you because all you need is better SERPS for more traffic and perhaps inccreased income from clicks on even higher-paying keywords.
One thing that I’m doing now that I didn’t do before is stack all the cards in my favor before building a new site.
Make sure you get a dot com domain name ( .com) with keywords in the title of the name preferrably at the beginning.
Forget about getting long-tail traffic if/when you use LinkVana because you’re basically limiting yourself to top rankings for words that don’t bring in a lot of traffic, so focus on more competitive terms and be patient because the SERPS will come.
If your main keywords are a close match to your domain name, then you’ll easily rank #1 for your term
Here’s 3 examples of what I mean, look at the number of competing sites for these terms (too bad there’s no search volume for this but point is, whatever your domain name is, you’ll rank highly for the words in the domain name with just a few LinkVana links)
Example 1- Ranked #1 and 2 (indented listings) out of 4 million other sites (my site is http://totalmarketingsystem.com)
Examples 2 and 3, same site different terms
#3 here for a term with 622k competing sites but more search volume
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS277US278&q=automated+Marketing+System
#2 here for a term with 600k competing sites, better search volume than term above
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS277US278&q=automated+Marketing+Systems
More examples:
Top of page 2, sometimes on page 1 for this term here with 66 million competing sites and good, competive search volume (my site is http://firsthandreviews.com )
Another:
This search term below will show you the site you’re on right now ( http://linkvana reviews.com ) as the top ranked site, so what I do here is I try to rank for a different term since ranking #1 for your domain name keywords is pretty much a given)
Ranked #1 for easier term that matches domain name:
On Page one for similar term, but singular
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS277US278&q=linkvana+review
Another example:
Same methodology as above (keyword rich domain names) for this term below:
Ranked #5 presently, climbing back to #1 spot
Similar term harder to rank well for:
Page 2 here with hardly any links to it, but working its way up.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS277US278&q=aweber+review&btnG=Search
Am I showing off? Heck no!
I don’t claim to be an SEO guru or web traffic master because I don’ thave to be. I just need to know how to stack all the cards in my favor using proper on-page optimization and LinkVana, too, of course.
The other point here is to show you that you can rank well without links just by using good domain names (obviously they’re important to ranking well) and by writing good content on your sites.
To see a site with low PageRank but with a lot of linkjuice go to http://danielmcgonagle.name and search for any of the blog post titles on that sites, and you’ll see 995 o fthme ranked in the top 5.
That’s why linkjuice from LinkVana’s network of blogs is so important…those few links can do a lot for you.
If you read this far down, I want to share a tip with you and it’s something I discovered on my own via trial and error.
If you want to move up a few spots in the SERPS without getting any backlinks, write a blog PAGE (not post), use the main keywords for your site as the title of that page, and configure your wordPress to display thi skeyword-rich page as the static front page of your site.
This basically puts your main keyword in the title of the post twice and I guess you could call it a white-hat method for keyword-stuffing.
Does this method work?
You tell me, does this site you’re on now (http://linkvanareviews.com ) show up on page 1 when you search for the title of this blog page (LinkVana Review) ?
Page 1 last I checked
One last example:
For the term online marketing guide, which is pretty competitive with halfway decent search volume, I now have 2 sites on page 1 of Google at the time of this post. The sites are http://yourimtoolkit.com and http://danielmcgonagle.name and you should see both of them on page 1 when you click here
I hope I gave you a good educational background and good reason to use the powerful LinkVana link building service.
