In the 2 previous posts, I wrote about mini-nets and how and why they can be used to dominate your niche, but it seems to have raised more questions that I thought it would.
Post 1 is here > Mini-net site building for easier niche domination
Post 2 is here > Setting up a mini-net network of sites
In this post I will address answer and encourage more questions to be asked on the mini-net strategy.
Q: Can .info domains be used for the satellite sites even though they had inherent bad reputations since spammers use them a lot?
A: You can work a .info TLD just like any other domain name and it will provide similar results IF you work it whitehat and practice solid SEO. If anything, your SEO might need to be more solid with a .info but you’ll get same results as other TLDs.
Q: Can I use web 2.0 properties to act as satellite sites that bring link juice towards my main mothership site?
A: The whole idea of building mini-nets is based on the premise of building a wide sphere of influence and not to spare the dollars AND also to control the flow of backlinks and traffic.
So Yes, you could use lenses and hubs and articles as satellite entities lending link juice to your main sites but there’s limited finite value to doing things this way, and you’d be better off using those aforementioned entities to link to your satellite sites, not make them your satellite sites.
You have more control over where and how many links get placed amidst your satellite sites’ content only when you own and control them, therefore it’s best to splurge on some domain names and develop a solid SEO strategy for each domain, which includes how to link to the mother ship main site and what terms to use when linking.
Q: Do I need to get different webhosting plans so my cross-linking from satellite sites is deemed more natural to the search engines?
A: Yes, this is the part of the method that makes things go into overdrive, and while it’s sort of a way to “foll” the search engines which is something I don’t really like to talk about or espouse others do, but there’s definitely a benefit to not disclosing your linking relationships to the search engines if you don’t have to, and that’s where different webhosting platforms with different IP addresses come in to play and effect
Q: This could get expensive, getting various webhosting plans and domain names, is there cheap C class hosting available?
A: SEO HOSTING is an easy solution for this but there are several other hosting companies that offer dirt-cheap hosting plans that will give you what you want which is IP diversity. however, these dirt cheap hosting companies will most likely offer you very little bandwidth and/or disk space and that’s not really an issue because these satellite sites are for landing pages or mini-sites and they won’t get much traffic but will dominate for the subset of keywords the site is built for dominating.
Q: How do I interlink/cross link from satellite sites to main site?
A: Link to main site use main site keywords, link to inner pages of main site from satellite sites whenever and wherever relevant and appropriate, do NOT force it into the content though.
Got questions? Ask them here and they’ll be added to this FAQs list, thx

Hi,
Does it make sense to use both backlink solutions and UAW. I am building out a network of 400 mini-sites that are to be stand alone sites that can earn me say $5 daily. Every day I create one and market it right away.
Though the links come in slowly as I use a drip of say 5 -10 daily from UAW
I get links from a range of places and follow one major strategy. This includes 1 blast to UAW using major spin and spinning keywords and titles. Linking to both inner pages and the home page.
Should I also get links from Backlink solutions, I have not signed up yet but will I be able to promote 2 sites daily and do they accept spun articles, titles and keywords?
Is it worth it?

Hey Mark, yes get BLS too….the more the merrier. With BLS you get effective links that don’t take a long time to generate and you can generate a pretty good quantity rather quickly. You can spin titles keywords anchor text and deep link with BLS. Out of curioisty are you making clickbump, xfactor, sniper sites or some other kind of sites? Seems like you’re making a lot of sites, and fora reason perhaps you’re implementing/following a certain method or strategy?
This is great info. Link building for some people is tedious but if we do it consistently can be very beneficial especially in term of $$$. I like it here and will keep coming for more link building information. I still got so much to learn.
Using satellite sites seems good. But is it a black hat technique? I mean, will it hurt in the long run?
It will only benefit in the long run. It’s not BlackHat, just “advanced” SEO stuff and I’m taking liberties with the word “advanced” here, it’s really basic stuff but it’s just not the same ole SEO people are used to doing
