My Article Network – Results after 1 week

I joined My Article Network about a week ago and the system works well and the articles are being accepted at a high rate.

One term I was going after moved from Page 7 to Page 4, and has “settled” at page 2 in it’s rankings for the term “link building services”.  I am currently testing out 3 other tough keywords to see if this service has “legs” to it.

Adsense impressions have gone up a bit for my Adsense sites, too.

However, my main concern going into this was how many articles were going to get accepted and published on the sites in their network.

My first article has a 100% acceptance rate, was submitted to a specific category and it is my best-performing Adsense site right now.

However, only 23 sites have published my article, even with the 100% acceptance rate, so I’m going to try and submit to more general categories to see if that gets more articles published on their network.

NEVER, EVER be taken in by claims of unlimited backlinks from a service like My Article Network, Neurolinker, or even Backlink solutions. It’s pure hype.

There’s a limit to everything, and almost everything in this universe has a finite element to it, so try to read past the fancy headlines and accept a dose of reality here: there’s no such thing as unlimited links.

However, there is such a thing as getting more links than you’ll ever need and My Article Network, with their 10,000 sites in the network, seems to be promising you just that.

But it seems that the pace of accepted articles has slowed down a bit.  If I’m only going to get my articles republished on 50 sites maximum per article,

  • and I’m not even close to that point yet with 23 articles accepted and published so far (18 in the first few days, then it slowed down)…
  • and those same sites are the ones linking to me repeatedly because they keep accepting my articles…

Then the effectiveness of this service is definitely LIMITED since the true value of getting articles syndicated is getting backlinks from multiple IP addresses, which means multiple sites.

So far my initial impressions of this service is that it works great so far, but there needs to be a deliverance on the hyped-up promise of unlimited backlinks.

That’s part of the reason why a service like LinkVana works so well.

LinkVana doesn’t promise unlimited links, because there’s no way to accommodate that.  Instead, they promise to deliver you powerful links from powerful sites (link-juice-wise).

And Linkvana has hundreds of sites in their network of this quality therefore you don’t need unlimited links with them, just enough to rank well for your chosen terms.

I review a lot of link building services here on this blog and they’re all a little different from each other so you need to know what you want and what would work best for you.

Want high ranking using just one service? Use LinkVana.  You won’t get manual traffic from the links you get from them since people aren’t really reading the blurbs you post on their sites, and this is strictly a get-ranked-highly for certain terms type of site.  And you’re still left without any type of social bookmarking links if you use just LinkVana as your rankings solution.

Do you want high rankings and manual traffic from the sites hosting your articles?  Then get Backlink Solutions.  This to me seems like the perfect mix of quality sites linking to you, massive amounts of links easily obtained, and there’s the option at the higher level to have automated social bookmarking done for you as well.

If you want links on a somewhat limited scale but more manual traffic from your articles, then get My Article Network.  To me this seems like a solution best-suited for Adsense sites because with Adsense, it’s all amount the number of impressions you’re getting and you will get some manual traffic and increased Adsense impressions by using My Article Network.

With the inherent limitations of their service ( you won’t be seeing hundreds of republished articles here per article is my guess) so it seems that the rankings for highly competitive terms won’t be achieved here but if are trying to get links to all your pages, you can do this with them.

Here’s the other thing about My Article Network… if you have 60 pages on your site, and you need links to all of them, then you’ll have to write 20 articles to achieve that.  And if you  write 20 articles you’re most likely going to get them published on the same sites that the previous articles were published on.

And repeated linking from the same sites results in decreased effectivness over time for those links.

This is the reality of link building.  even Backlink solutions has it’s limitations, but they’re adding sites every week that are Page Rank 2 or more, and their sites do well in the search engines, too.  If you use Backlink solutions you’re guaranteed to get as any links as you specify, and it is just a matter of time before you get them.  since BLS doesn’t have “10,000″ blogs in their system they won’t be giving you 10,000 link sunless you get multiple links from the same sites over and over and over again, which isn’t really effective.

So far, My Article Network is doing an “OK” job, and it might make me delve into Unique Article Wizard as another solution because Unique Article Wizard will definitely be giving you the option to have your articles being published on hundreds of sites and article directories.

I”ve only been using My Article Wizard for a week or so, so these are just my initial impressions.  My main concern is that when I published my first article I saw potential but the syndication has slowed down and maybe even plateau-ed.  If my articles are to be syndicated even more, it will be only because more people are joining My Article Network and adding their blogs to the system.

Do I want to wait and hope that hundreds of people with sites in my niches join MAN so I can further my articles syndication?

Do you want to wait on that uncertain aspect to all of this?
