Is Unique Article Wizard Still Effective?
I’ve had several comments and emails from people who are hearing that Unique Article Wizard is no longer effective and that UAW’s custom proprietary content-spinning, (and content-spinning in general) have been “outed” by the search engines.
The common thread of the feedback/concerns:
- “Every site I used UAW to get direct links to has dropped considerably in the SERPs.”
- “My articles don’t have any real effect any more.”
- “UAW articles have a footprint.”
Let’s address these points one by one:
“Every site I used UAW to get direct links to has dropped considerably in the SERPs.”
How to Achieve Natural Link building (Part 2)
In Part one we discussed Natural Link building and how to fake it, but it was really more of an in-depth introduction to the concept.
So how can you take matters into your own hands to generate seemingly natural backlinks?
Well, link wheels come to mind here, but a LOT of people aren’t building link wheels properly.
They’re basically creating easily detected 3 or 4-way backlinks that aren’t open-ended enough to be deemed as natural. That’s why there have been so many reported cases of link wheels getting G-slapped.
Natural Link Building + How To Fake It
A common piece of seo link building advice is to practice natural link building, but according to the folks at Google and other search engines, proactively generating backlinks is basically spam-like behavior.
To syndicate content and build web properties and websites for the sole purpose of creating an entity that backlinks to your desired end destinations is not what they’re hoping will happen. They want sincere editorial-like “votes” from other sites and people and places to be the only votes that occur/matter.
Therefore, what the search engines are really looking for are natural backlinks, votes given freely and with sincere purpose and intent.
Guest blogging opportunities and how to run them
If you’re going to accept guest author posts on your blog and offer guest blogging opportunities, then there are a few things to keep in mind:
- You want to (continue to) provide value to your readers
- You want to provide value to your guest authors
- You want your site to remain “on-point” with the content
How to provide continued value to your readers with guest author blogging opportunities:
- Specify what kind of content you are looking for.
- Tell potential guest authors what your readers are interested in the most, in case they don’t do proper site assessments beforehand, as mentioned in How to do guest blogging properly
How to do guest blogging properly, where to find people who want your content
In this post I will discuss how to do Guest Blogging properly after you find people who want your content. In Do Guest Bloggers Get Good Backlinks With Guest Author Posts?, I discussed the myriad benefits of guest blogging so you might want to read that article first before proceeding with this one.
How to do guest blogging properly:
I am by no means a professional guest blogger, if there is even such a thing… so these are just my opinions based on limited experiences thus far.
