Rank builder by Alex Goad

in Rank Builder

Rank Builder is a wanna be contender to SE Nuke ( so many of these nowadays!).

Rank Builder is basically a new and improved Link builders Pro software, which was originally Maulana’s product.  LB Pro was a contender alternative to SE Nuke back in the day but never really came close since it doesn’t do everything that SE Nuke did, or does and whilst it did all the same things , like Web 2.0s creations and submissions, it just did them on a smaller scale so it wasn;t worth looking into back then.

Same goes for SERP Assist, XGenSEo and other wanna be SE Nukes, there’s never been one that does what SE Nuke does, but better.

Rank Builder is a renamed Link Builders Pro, and is a JV between Maulana and Alex Goad, who is some sort of brand name marketing dude or something I guess, because Maulana joint-ventured with him to help push the product to a wider audience.

OK, so what’s Rank Builder do?

Web 2.0 account creations, email verifications, with submissions to 50 sites (good numbers here)

RSS mashups once all submissions are done, and RSS submits on individual level, too.

Rank Builder does some BS> social bookmarking vias OnlyWire whic his a joke and not helpful, so hopefully they change that into something better.

It does profiles link building, comes with a pre-existing list of sites to submit profiles links to.

I suspect that their article marketing portion/feature is running on Maulana Authority Link Network, which requires you to buy a domain with Page Rank add it to their Page Ranked article network, etc…

BTW… I don’t think Authority Link Network is worth the time nor effort to do link building with, as I mentioned in this post on Authority Link Network, but maybe the submissions rules have changed now that ALN is part of Rank Builder?  Who knows, I will ask

Breaking it down:

  • Auto registration confirmation verification of web 2.0 accounts
  • 35 Web 2.0s
  • 30 social bookmarking sites
  • 10 RSS directories
  • Unknown number of sites in their network

Testing it out now, no idea on pricing or effectiveness yet.

SE Nuke, SERP Assist, and Link Builders Pro are known good working programs (some weaker than others no doubt).

Will letcha know how it goes, > First update based on a test run here

Great info Dan – I’ve got to look into this one.

Haha, watch out for this guy though. He builds product review sites that review his own products as sort of a reputation management thing.

Well we know he’s not stupid! ;)

Hi Dan, that review does not based on an in-depth test and are there just bashing this product like crazy. You own Link Builder PRO Dan, and you know it’s a good and mature tools already.

We now have around 50 web 2.0 properties to submit to and 5 forum platforms supported like: vBulletin, SMF, Expression Engine, etc.

We’re also working on a new article submitter program which will submit to high quality article directories like ezinearticles, etc. And a social bookmarking program which will replace OnlyWire submission (it will be completed this month)

Thanks,
Maulana

OK Maulana, I got the software courtesy of you, thanks, and also sent you an email about Rank Builder to get full, true, updated story.

Tried to join today but site’s only accepting optins then redirects to blog. Will try it later I guess.

You have my email address and skype ID

Dan, thanks. I don’t believe I will consider the product any closer.

Hey Dan,

Been a long time fan of your website. It’s hard to find genuine user reviews these days, especially for IM products. Just Google “any product review”…you’ll find the same Scam+Bonuses everywhere.

If you don’t know already, Link builder pro renamed as Rank builder. And thanks for mentioning my review :)

Thanks for stopping by Boss Man.

So what gives, did Maulana sell Link Builders Pro to Goad? How else could it be renamed? Is it a stolen LB Pro like u mentioned in your review, or just LB Pro repackaged and/or renamed?

I agree that getting real IM product reviews are getting harder. When I wrote the latest one on my blog, I was on page 3-4 when the commenter found my review.

Plus the fact the current trend is about false “limited copies” and then mentioned then sold 10 000, 20 000+ units on their affiliate page/blog, the credibility goes out of the window. I often review the salespages for the claims and wait for a few real reviews since I hardly buy them anymore.

At least with Dan, we have his real opinion since he specialized in that. I got into LynxBoss because of his honest review and yes, used his aff. link. I recently added another 20 slots, yes it cost more, and already saw major progress on most of them in just 2 weeks. Later(1-2 month), I will do swaps with my other sites. Btw, use L4L to your advantage since one of the initial 5 sites that worked beyond my expectation had a lot of backlinks thus L4L help it a lot more. I just need to replicate that to my other sites ;)

One note: Always update the software being reviewed/used. I got an email from one of my clients using v1.01 and v1.7 was out for a long of time. ;) And I’m working on v1.8 to be more IM centric for my own needs right now(busy bee loll).

P.S. Labor Day was yesterday so get back to work Dan with 2-4 new post for today(2 yesterday) lollll

Steve the Slave-driver! :)

I think it’d be better if people practiced REAL scarcity marketing and used waiting lists, too.

Better than false promises to savvy marketers who’ve been around the block a few times

Well, I don’t think Maulana sold it. He’s JV’ed with Goad. Goad is putting his name and fame to it. So you gotta pay premium price!

Ah, ok, so a combination of Authority Link Network and renamed Link Builders Pro, plus free Onlywire (which sucks) and maybe a profile-making ubot?

Side note, please tell me you did a review on SEO Link vine?

Reply

Maulana September 7, 2010 at 2:14 am

Hi Daniel, the Profile Link Builder is not an ubot. It’s written in C#. You can find it in your Rank Builder folder. If you want to test it. Don’t forget to use the latest version (which has 700+ forums sites): http://www.linkbuilder-pro.com/getlatestversion.html

Steve – great points.

Agree 100% with your comments. My 2-cents:

1) Read Dan’s blog,
2) Watch closely & attentively to LinxBo$$’s videos in the training section for “best practices”,
3) Fully utilize the sections on L4L,
4) Monitor every 5-days the “tracking” for progress

The above assumes you have a “good neighborhood” website; your site is SEO optimized in meta tags, meta title, the site has a good seo score (check domaintools.com if you want it a free assessment), and you have a conversion method – so you can make money on what you are selling.

Maulana -

A better question is: “Are you writing reviews of your own product, or outsourcring these reviews, or paying for reviews of your product?”

If the answer is “yes”, then they may lack a little “objectivity”.

Maulana September 7, 2010 at 12:57 pm

Hi, I never write a review of Link Builder PRO/Rank Builder. Where did you get that from? What product did you mean?

Reply

Daniel McGonagle September 7, 2010 at 1:05 pm

I implied in an earlier comment that Goad was building his own product review sites for RB… as a rep. mgmt, promotional thing

Reply

TJ September 7, 2010 at 1:37 pm

Maulana, I am interested in your product if Dan gives a blessing. I am not aware of another unbiased objective reviewer in this field.

Thanks for providing Dan all of the necessary tools and information.

I dont quite get what the difference is between linkbuilder pro and RankBuilder. I noticed on one of the JV forums I hang out on that Maulana is doing another JV with someone else to promote this, although I think that one is being branded as LinkBuilder Pro.

I haven’t tried the software though so can’t really comment but like TJ I might be tempted to give it a go if Dan gives it his blessing!

gonna update the post asap.

Maulana ( of Link builders Pro fame) joined up with some dude named Goat, and now LBPro is called Rank builder.

There was NO stealing, and NO theft, the url referenced in the post was based on the older version of LB Pro which apparently not many people liked, will be testing this this week

Thanks for the notice, I was doing some reading on this after someone asked me to look into it and I must have a good memory because yes, it looks like your review pre-launch ( zero testing) resembles mine, or rather mine resembles yours.

I’ll edit it completely thanks man.

viralbookmarking looks like really nice idea, gotta try it as well. Hopefully there will be review for it too?
