The BEST RSS Submission Software, PERIOD!

in RSS submission

I’m excited to say I’m positive I found the Best RSS Submission software on the planet….

When I think of doing RSS submissions, I usually used to think of just doing the obligatory submitting of my sites’ main RSS feed to a few places like feedagg and feedage and that’s it…

Part of my checklist for bringing new sites online includes:

  • Directory submissions
  • Search engines submissions
  • RSS Feed submissions
  • Some social bookmarking
  • Getting other sites to link to you
  • Creating sitemap
  • Adding blogs to Google Blog Search engine

You don’t have to do all of these things but doing all of them gives you a nice well-rounded “links profile”…

What’s good about doing RSS submissions specifically is it helps get your site indexed quickly via acquisition of some decent backlinks but I never really thought of it as a serious link building tool:

What most webmasters, myself included are doing wrong or were doing wrong with RSS Feed Submissions:

1- Only submitting RSS feeds to a few places
2- Only submitting the main site feed (sitename.com/feed)
3- Never submitting the RSS feed of your Article Directory, social site accounts or profiles.

Based on my past experiences with using RSS I just knew there should be a way to make better use of this technology besides submitting main site feeds to a few places.

I always wished I could do more with RSS, like making all of my site content into individual rss feeds somehow, then submitting each of those as new, separate from main site urls/RSS feeds.

The solutions for accomplishing this this seemed too “techie” and complicated so I didn’t do it, especially since I’d never been convinced of the real power of RSS.

Well, the software I started using a few days is like a dream come true for me, and for me it’s truly the missing link for realizing and enjoying the true power of RSS submissions.

  • The TRUE POWER of RSS Feed submissions doesn’t come from submitting your site’s main feed.
  • The TRUE POWER of RSS Feed submission from domination of long tail terms that most site content pieces are designed for.
  • TRUE POWER of RSS Feed submissions comes from getting high quality deep links to every single page on your site automatically

In my opinion the BEST RSS Submission software would automatically create an RSS feed out of a blog post url or even html page and then submit it to some good RSS Aggregator sites.

Imagine the kind of long-tail domination you’d be enjoying if you got 20 backlinks from RSS aggregator sites for every new post or page you publish…

Now imagine a plugin/software solution that would also do this for all your older posts and pages, too!

The plugin/software that I’ve been using for the past few days does exactly that.  You get high PageRank (PR 4-6) RSS aggregator sites linking to each and every single piece of content on all your sites automatically.

I bought, installed and configured this plugin on a Saturday afternoon and let it do its work, expecting another disappointment form another “Best RSS Submission software”…

Well, on Sunday night I just happened to see some results on this in the SERPs and was absolutely amazed at how well the RSS submissions are doing in the rankings.  Not only do these RSS sites show my blog post titles in the SERPS ABOVE my content they’re linking to, but they’re also bumping up some of my rankings without me lifting a finger.

Long-tail domination is going to be achieved here, even by the stupidest, non-techie webmasters, BUT….it will also leads to more link juice, higher PageRank, and better SERPs for everything you post moving forward due to the increased link juice and authority of your site, SEO-wise.

I’m going to be recommending this product, but I’m going to allow more time to pass so that more and more proof can be shown via a video presentation.

I’ll also make a short email newsletter out of this to address some quirks with this software and best practices for using it.

This is going to change how I blog.   I have over 20 blogs I post to regularly and when I want to dominate the SERPs for long tail terms, I usually have to post modified versions of the base articles on my other sites, but not any more.

This plugin means I can write a whole lot less and still dominate the long-tail SERPS

UPDATE: A lot of people have asked me for a link to the product I’m referencing here, but aren’t seeing or using the newsletter option.  Again, I was trying to share something valuable that would give you an edge on your competition, without letting the whole world see it, so here’s the link to the product

I highly recommend you get the newsletter below to find out more about this and to get my updates on how to use RSS feeds and rss submissions for maximum effect.

LATEST UPDATE: My fledgling link building service does automated RSS submissions for you so need to buy a plugin anymore, so go here and get a membership and inside the member’s area you’ll see how to go about getting these types of links.

I’m curious about what this RSS software is. So your saying you get a new feed for just 1 new blog post or html page and submit that? I thought RSS feeds are suppose to have many posts/pages in them? Won’t RSS aggregators not like RSS feeds with just one post/page?

Reply

2 Dan September 28, 2009 at 4:35 pm

Anything can be turned into an RSS feed format, which means anything can be submitted as an RSS feed if it meets the “protocol”.

Your websites’ main feeds are usually only 10 items max… but the submission itself is one url only…

What if you chose to display only 1,2,3,4 or 5 RSS feeds by default on main site feed?

The Aggregators don’t seem to differentiate between or “judge” the submissions based on what’s available in feed.

This software has some bugs that I’m trying to work out, so it will be a few more days before I have more solid proof of how well things are working.

Thanks for stopping by,

Dan

Does this plugin or software require a monthly fee or a one time payment?

Will all of these RSS feed submissions raise the rankings of your website or will only your RSS feed submissions rank highly and then disappear while your website remains with the same search engine ranking?

It’s a one-time fee believe it or not!

The RSS feeds in the SERPs usually end up going away after a while, unless it’s ranking well for low-competition long-tail keywords.

What I’ve seen so far is that they’ll stick around anywhere from 3 hours to months, all depending on the competitive of the term and your blog post title.

Right now, I am experiencing some issues with the cron jobs and the feature that posts all existing posts for you on a scheduled basis.
I also see some errors in log files and want to know what happens if I update a blog post, does that submit again to the RSS Aggregators?

I have a ticket in to these people now about those questions.

Using this software to get 20 or so RSS backlinks per post is going to give your sites’ extreme link juice and you’ll rank with ease for anything new you put out (within reason) because…

1- 20 backlinks to every page on site means deep linking and nice link juice building up
2- Which makes it easier for new posts to rank well (due to SEO weight of your site)
3- Add to that 20 new backlinks per post automatically and you got a winner

IF the scheduling works, then I will be ecstatic with this software.

Even if it doesn’t work for existing posts, it’s still pretty useful for new sites

How is this RSS feed submission software better than using yahoo pipes to filter out specific posts on your blog and then submitting the resulting output to various RSS feed aggregrators using RSSBot?

Reply

6 admin October 3, 2009 at 12:55 pm

I don’t see how Yahoo Pipes does anything that makes normal php blog post urls into RSS feeds.

RSS Bot is still a manual tool since it resides on your desktop, doesn’t create RSS feeds out of individual content pieces and auto submit them.

While RSS bot is good value, it doesn’t address the missing element for many people’s RSS submissions process, which is that most people aren’t submitting ind. posts and content as individual feeds THEN auto submitting.

Yahoo Pipes is a centralized aggregator of all your feeds, it seems, and it is still in BETA, and again, I don’t see how it constantly scans your sites for newly published content, nor do I see how it auto-submits and creates feeds for individual posts.

I like what Yahoo Pipes is capable of, because you can submit RSS feeds for all your social profiles as well using their software.

but again…
one time submissions for main profiles is great, and good basic SEO practice, but taking things to a whole new level means doing what I keep mentioning, individual content pieces submitted as their own unique feeds.

Automatically…. nothing manual required…

How much does this RSS feed submission software cost? Is it under $200?

When will you tell us where we can buy it for ourselves?

OK, Jim hope it works out for you, I’ve been scouring the Skype and contact lists looking for people who might be able to make the cron jobs portion of this work 100%.

Seems like most people are using this software for their new sites, but I have enough of those :) so I was most interested in using this software for getting all the older posts submitted as feeds.

This may sound like a dumb solution, but I/you/we could always delete our oldest posts on sites, update site map, and once every few days repost those older posts as brand new ones.

All this might be more trouble than it’s worth.

FYI, the guys that made this software said Traffic Bug provided some pretty decent results for them, it just took a while to take hold and produce those results.

If I have more than 40 posts on my blog, should I submit all 40+ posts to the RSS aggregrators using the RSS Feed submission software?

What should we not do with the RSS Feed submission software?

Reply

15 jack October 10, 2009 at 1:30 pm

If I am going to submit my feeds from all the article directories I submitted my articles to, should I combine them all into one giant feed using yahoo pipes and then submit that giant feed to the rss aggregators or should I submit each individual article directory feed on its own to the rss aggregators?

Jack, did you get the software yet and have you used it yet?

Reply

17 jack October 12, 2009 at 10:05 am

I have not bought the software yet. I want to wait until they get the cron job problem fixed because I do not want to delete and then repost my old posts. Can you tell me when they will fix the cron job problem?

Reply

18 admin October 12, 2009 at 1:21 pm

Hey Jack, they might not ever resolve that cronjob issue, since most people need this software for fairly new sites.

What I’ve been doing is going through some old sites, seeing which posts aren’t even indexed, cutting the post into a text file, then deleting from site, updating sitemap, modifying post ever so slightly, the republishing with a day or so later.

From what I’ve been told it’s not a coding issue, more like a wordpress/cpanel limitation.

Blog submission is an important thing. You have a blog and you are good blog poster as well as your writing are so strong that people would like visit and read these posts, but you have not enough readers and blog popularity, here comes the need of Blog Submission services. Having blog listed in various blog directories provide you direct traffic as well as keyword ranking in google which generate natural traffic towards your blog!

Can you tell me when you plan on showing us video proof of some of the results you have gotten with this rss feed submission software? When will you provide your affiliate link for this product?

I noticed with rss feed submissions that I get better search engine rankings for a couple of weeks but then my website goes back to where it was before. Are you noticing a similar situation with your websites?

Hi Jack, as mentioned 3-4 times already in this post, there is a newsletter where you can get the aff link, and I wrote this post here to show in a general way My Results from using the RSS software

If I said I’d do a video to show proof then I’ll stick to that, but I’m not going to jump through hoops to convince people to get this software, since the less people who get it the better for the rest of us who have taken action, got it, used it and saved their questions for later.

I mean… it’s a one time fee WAY under 100 bucks and can be used for all your sites, therefore an absolute bargain.

Check out http://linkvanareviews.com/results-from-using-rss-submission-software to see some sort of proof on this, and I willlshow you some video proof at some point but that post I directed you to has a way or showing solid proof, and the newsletter optin code showed 3-4 times will show you the link to the product.

I’m keeping it under wraps because I want action-takers to benefit.

Hope this all makes sense,

Dan

Hmm, very interesting idea on submitting individual posts/pages to rss agragators instead of just the main site feed. Buw how much link juice do rss agregators pass? Obviously it’s very good for getting a page indexed, but are links from an rss agregator comparable to a link from a normal site? Just started with rss submissions not long ago, so still trying to get my head around it.

Reply

25 Daniel McGonagle November 22, 2009 at 11:01 am

It’ll take a while to wrap your ahead around RSS. Best thing to do is realize that almost everything on the web has the ability to be an rss feed if it isn’t already.

Create 2.0 properties around certain keywords and terms, make master feed sout of themand promote, link to thos emaster feeds.

As far as the value for these links are concerned, it’s hard to tell but I ‘ve seen some dramatic increases in traffic just by re-publishing some posts on blogs that have this installed.

I consider using something like this an integral must-have part of your SEO arsenal since it can be set up in an hour or two depending on how many sites you have, and then it’s 100% completely on autopilot moving forward.

And these are quality links that stick, no matter their value therefore automating links that are “sticky” is good value, IMNSHO,

Thanks, Dan. I appreciate your review of this software.

Would you happen to know if the automatic submission can work with hosted sites such as Blogger/Blogspot or Hubpages?

I have a few blogs that I host myself, but I have had a lot of success with some blogs hosted on those services. If this product will produce automatic RSS backlinks to Blogger and Hubpages, it will perfect.

Any idea?

31 Daniel McGonagle December 29, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Hey Bradley, this is software that needs to be installed therefore cannot be used for remote 3d party sites you don’t own or control.

Best thing to do for those 3d party site is set up a link leveraging link collector auto blog that does have the software installed, pull content from the 3d party sites via rss scraping, wp o matic, feedwordpress, whatever…then those snippets will get submitted as their own feeds and you’ll have links to those posts, and they in turn will link to your 3d party content urls

Dear Daniel,

many thanks for your review of this RSS submission software. I entirely agree with you and saw it myself that RSS submissions are a powerful tool to boost a website. I am now in the process of evaluating different RSS submission tools and I wonder if you ever had a look at RSS Submit and its plugins? It’s more expensive than the tool you were referring to but it seems to me that it’s rather powerful although I cannot judge if it’s better than Web Traffic Genius RSS. What do you think?

I don’t know if I can post the link to RSS Submit. Here it is:

Hi Josef, that was one of the first tools I looked at, but when I realized that individual URLS could and SHOULD be submitted as their own feeds, that’s when I decided to go with this software as my go-to RSS submission tool. It does a lot more for a lot less than any other tool out there

I am wondering two thins. 1st, how has deleting older posts and then waiting a few days and reposting them been working out for you? It would seem that this is a bit tedious but if the results are worth it then I suppose I could take the time out to do this. Also, what is the ease of use on this product like? I am not a very “techy” guy and do not have time to try and learn how to use it for a whole 2 or 3 days. It seems like this product could be great since it is a one time buy and a one time setup type of thing. I love total automation. Which leads me to another question, once you have this setup on all of your blogs is this all you do as far as RSS submissions are concerned? I mean, does this pretty much take care of all your RSS need for you Dan? Or is there still more to the process of getting the most out of RSS? BTW, I follow all of your stuff Dan. You always go above and beyond on all of your posts. Especially on the WF. Keep up the great work!

Hi Jim, yes it was tedious doing the reposting once this software had been set up, but was worth it for the sites I used it on for a number of reasons.

I got to clean up some messy publishing that I did
I only re-posted urls that hadn’t been indexed yet, or just fell out of indexing
and I added content to each post upon publication

The site I spent the most time doing this on has been my best-producing Adsense site, except for Christmas time.

Once you set this up, you’re pretty much done with your RSS submissions, although I would suggest hitting the top 3-5 sites to submit your main site feeds seperately. If you did that all at once it’d take 5 minutes.

RRSS feeds for linking is basically good for “index driving”, ie, making sure the posts get indexed and stay indexed.

Thanks for the feedback and questions!

Dan

This software sounds great. I guess I would have no more need for RSS bot. Do you know if the bug was fixed for having to re-post all the posts?

Was this alway $97? I thought I was reading under $70, was there a coupon code?

What do you recommend to do in addition to setting up this software? I know you mentioned something about feedburner in the warrior forum posts.
