SEO Link Robot review

in SEO Link Robot

For many years, online marketers’ (specifically those who do affiliate websites and sites that review products for clicks on ads on their pages) have been looking for a single product to automate the back link process to their sites.

There’s always been the option of using buggy high priced PC resource hogs like SE Nuke, or lesser wanna-bes like Rank Builder, and now in late 2010 a new wanna-be SE Nuke  (but with a one time fee) called SEO Link Robot has been out and about for a bit.

SEO Link Robot has an easy way to set up accounts on Blog/Web2.0 sites, RSS feed sites, and Social Bookmarking sites.  If you have used products like Article Marketing Robot or other similar products you account creation is the same and simple.
SEO Link Robot also takes spin-text articles and uses them/spins them when submitting to the Blog/Web2.0 Sites and the Social Bookmarking Sites.  Having a capable writer, who knows how to spin, is a necessity for proper use and success of these great tools.
SEO Link Robot does more than Blog/Web2.0, RSS fees, and social bookmarking it also pings the URLs that you create using the Blog/Web2.0 and it can ping any URL that you add to it.

The positives about SEO Link Robot:

  • Easy account set up
  • E-mail verifier
  • Link Viewer
  • 1 time fee
  • Unlimited Use
  • Constant Updates
  • All the different types of links you can get:
    • Blog/web2.0
    • Social Bookmarks
    • RSS feeds
    • Pings, etc.

There are some negatives about SEO Link Robot:

  • The Blog/Web2.0 and Social Bookmarks are slow.
  • You have to sit and watch the submissions so that when a web2.0 website freezes you can skip it.
  • There is no way to get your accounts to have different IP addresses (not good, not good).
  • When it updates you lose all previous information
    • It has an option to save your information, but just today I tried to upload it back to SEO Link Robot and I am getting an Error so I had to manually add the information in again.
  • Crashes a lot

SEO Link Robot isn’t the end-all, be-all in automated products, but it is a great start if you utilize just a few other products out there.  SEO Link Robot is recommended, with the caveat that it needs to be used with other products for a greater diversity in SEO links.  And with a second caveat that you don’t use it too much for Blog/Web2.0 post or social bookmarks, since it currently will only show your current IP address and there are inherent issues with that.

There’s no proxy support? How did I miss that.

Hi Dan, thanks for sharing this regards SEO Link Robot. Sounds just about on the good side.

I just took on the free trial of SEnuke to see if I could get the thing up and functioning. Erm… nope!! I can’t even get it to sign up to the range of sites that they offer (5 successes out of about 35), let alone post my content. Help desk are pretty slow to respond too – if at all, and nothing from the SEnuke forum either. Its a very poor show for a product that costs $127 a month!

I may have to dump it in favour of SEO Link Robot.

Cheers!

On the negatives daniel..

The browser poster is being changed to function the same as the rss and social posters and all multi-threaded..

All of the data is saved within xml files so it is impossible to lose the data itself. If your getting any errors can you post them in the support section so they can be looked at.

On the hanging / freezing the code has timeout built in, so you dont need to site and babysit it.

Can you send me details on the crashing? this isnt something that any other user has reported.

thanks

Steve

I have set SEO Link Robot to run when I leave early in the morning and come back 12 hours later and the whole program has frozen and I have the same error I get when I tried to load my pre-made author accounts, which you will see below so I have had to baby sit it!

Can you send me details on the crashing? this isnt something that any other user has reported.

After reading different reviews, comments and talking with other users I am not the only one who have had these problems.

When I try to load my different author accounts this is the error that I get:

“Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the appliation will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I click on Details down arrow and it says:

See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugigng instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.”

Can you send me the pre-made accounts file that is causing the errors? This isn’t an error that has been reported. If it hasnt been reported then it’s not an error that would have been fixed. Did you create the accounts in the software ? I suspect your trying to load a file created outside of the software..

If so, that an easy fix..

If other users are experiencing errors.. why haven’t they reported them? All errors that have been raised have been promptly fixed and updates issued for them..

On the proxy support the software auto creates a web proxy based on the proxy setup within internet explorer.. ie.. users using yourprivateproxy..

I still don’t understand why you haven’t contact support on any issues daniel.. If you don’t informing us of any problem, how can any issues you are having been fixed.

regards

Steve

I don’t use YPP, a bit too expensive for me, but doesn’t IE only allow for 1 proxy at a time (without using additional switching software)? A program like this needs to support rotation of multiple proxies, be it free proxies or paid ones that require authentication.

But this isn’t an area I am well-versed in so maybe I am misunderstanding the web proxy thing.

Hey, I need some help with SEO LR, maybe you can help me out. I can’t even get the main account data email set up. Every time I plug in my email info and hit the test setting button I get this same error report. It won’t allow me to paste in onto here, but at the bottom it says: Pop3Resonse: -ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted
PASS_response: -ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted

POP3 authentication failed
Authentication failed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Marcus, can you open a support ticket and add your team viewer id and pass and a time and I’ll login for you and check the problem.

Carrie, Multiple proxies are being added after the video module.

Hi, I’ve been trying a few times to setup an account on ‘On Sugar’ (Web 2.0) site and every time I do the whole program becomes…..’Not Responding’.
Any ideas?

Pete.

Hi Steve, I’ve sorted it. My friend John Wilson told me the obvious of which I should have known. When I went to set up a new account on ‘On Sugar’, I was still logged in on my previously created account. So by deleting cookies, it had solved the problem.

Kind regards,

Pete.

hi,
I read a lot of link building services and software reviews and like your approach.

I have see some promotion of software like XgenSeo, magicSubmitter and ArticleMarketingAutomation.

I use ArticleMarketingAutomation, but see no difference in ranking, have you any thought on these.

and finally,
which link building services out of all your reviews, like
BuildMyRank, LinxBoss, and JeremyKalsall’s service,
which one you recommend.

Thanks for your honest approach.
