As I mentioned in part one of the Advanced OnPage SEO article, sites evolve over time, and take a life of their own.

Originally I started to create a review site and ended up really liking this topic so I just kept reviewing more and more link building services.

But along with reviews of services I needed to offer some decent SEO advice, link building tips, warnings and what-not in order to have my reviews and recommendations to be believable.

So that’s why this site evolved and why site titles evolved with it, too.

The on-page optimization you perform on your sites can make your link building efforts work a whole lot better (or make it a lot harder to see the results you want).

While link building is an essential part of the overall rankings effort, it’s still only half of the battle.

Linkbuilding Tips To Make Your Linkbuilding Efforts More Effective

There are a lot reasons why you may not see any positive results with link building services even after using them a while.

The first reason is pretty simple:

You need to use these services for 20-60, maybe even 90 days before you see increased rankings.  If you’re starting form Ground Zero, with a fairly new site and only a smattering of existing backlinks, then I consider that a Ground Zero website.

You’re not going to rank highly and permanently without getting effective backlinks to properly optimized pages on a site with very little content.
