Hi Karen,

you have to ask yourself if you really want to use UAW articles ot make articles and Web 2.0 properties rank well, or just to point enough links ot a LOT of web 2.0 properties to give them enough link juice to turn into even more valuable backlinks, which will then in turn... link to some money pages which will get a boost from these quality backlinks you generated.

Would it be sufficient to point all of the links from an article submitted through UAW to a goarticles.com article and an ezinearticles.com article? Would doing this do more to raise my search engine rankings than linking directly to my website?

Yes, you should be linking to web 2.0 like properties from your UAW articles.

Reasons being that these properties don't need a lot of links to get ranked better and/or provide better backlinks. UAW articles will send direct traffic to these properties, which in the case of hubs, will increase your hub score, thereby bumping it up to make it develop into a dofollow type of backlink (same applies for squidoo lenses, too).

You also want to vary the length of your UAW articles so they're all not X# of paragraphs each, which is a detectable footprint.

ALSO, your success depends on how new/old your sites are, what frequency of submissions you're using for the UAW submissions, whether or not you're rotating your resource boxes and KW anchor text selection for hyperlinking.

I have used the links from my unique article wizard articles to link directly to my websites and I do not seem to be getting increase in my search engine rankings? Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Should I be linking to blogger.com blogs and goarticles.com articles that are linking to my websites instead?

Hi Seth, regarding SYA versus UAW, I wrote a blog post on that on another post here unique article wizard vs. submit your article

In a nutshell, I am not sure how well SYA does, not sure what their article leveraging does, but UAW does the trick for me. There are a lot of similar services that do article submissions as I've reviewed at Article Submission Services Reviewed

As you can see, I have an affiliate site going for UAW, and I never go to the effort of doing that unless I'm "ga-ga" over the service.

Right now I'm testing some outsourcing services like getarticlesdone.com, 99centarticles, maxdesk and so on... I'll join SYA one of these days and give it one of my full-bore reviews. I really don't trust anyone to test these services for me because there are so many little details that are important to the whole submissions and syndication process, like varying of the backlinks (don't use just one backlink, it's unnatural), where the backlinks appear in the articles, and how much juice the sites in different networks have.

By "juice" I basically mean how much linkjuice the sites in these networks are giving back, and how they're affecting my SERPS for certain KWs and sites.

Thanks again for your feedback, comments and questions,

Dan

I have another question - hope you don't mind! I use SYA and it seems to work great - all my articles are live and no problems with unique content since I use their article leverage system.

Can you explain the major differences and how UAW might be beneficial over SYA?

Thanks again for the great reviews!
