Web 2 Mayhem Final Review + Results From Using

DATE:Before I even wrote this part of the Web2Mayhem review series, I knew it was going to be good because it incorporates a lot of what I was doing anyways, just to a lesser degree.

A solid SEO plan needs to utilize massive action for maximum effectiveness but in such a way that which means harvesting the power of 3d party Web 2.0 sites, RSS, social bookmarking, and most importantly of all, content syndication for backlinks and direct traffic.

All this is stuff I’ve been doing anyways so what Web 2 Mayhem is “making” us to is all top-notch stuff and pretty solid SEO.

However, here’s something the bottom feeders won’t tell you because they need those affiliate commissions so badly:

A lot of the things that Web 2 Mayhem offers you can be done for free, and a lot the tools being offered can be bought for a one-time fee.

Cases in point:

  1. Social bookmarking submissions can be done using Social Bot for $24.95
  2. RSS announcing can be done by RSS bot for $24.95
  3. Article syndication to free article directories can be done using quality one time fee article submitters
  4. Video submissions can be done for free using tube Mogul
  5. 3 way linking can be had for $3.00/month or $7.00/month or whatever ALB is charging now.

What Web 2 Mayhem does for you that is a time-saver:

  1. Auto-creates the social bookmarking accounts
  2. Auto-creates accounts at the RSS submissions sites
  3. Gets you more social bookmarks via its Web 2.0 cooperative than you’d get on your own

The real value to using Web 2 Mayhem:

  1. Centralized place from which to do all your SEO tasks.
  2. They provide semi-decent training on how to use their tools and software
  3. They offer straightforward solid plans and diagrams to help you understand the big picture
  4. By providing you with a pre-set SEO toolkit and resources to tap into, you’re kind of being pigeon-holed into doing only those tasks which will serve you best, which is great because it allows you to focus on doing effective things only.

Web2Mayhem Results?

I am testing out several different new sites and old sites for the Web2Mayhem.  As you know I review and use a lot of link building services so at some point I run out of arms and legs and had to find someone to act like an aout-sourcer and use this service with my guidance.

Sorry to leave you flat-footed, waiting for the results but most services requires 2-3 months of involvement before they pay off or show some steady results.

I will reveal my case study and blog posts here on this blog post, so bookmark it.

In the meantime, check out these posts which will give you some stuff to do while you’re waiting for the results of the case study, that is…IF you have the patience to wait 2 months for a verdict.

UPDATE: I canceled my membership because I needed to outsource a lot of the set up tasks like creating new logins and what-not, so I outsourced this but that didn’t work out.  when they come out with their trial offer, I will post a link here for that.

Also: Syndicate Kahuna isn’t your typical blog network, all posts submitted through the network have to meet editorial review prior to passing on through the network.

All in all , I am impressed at the amalgamation of resources they’re offering here, which is better than SE Nuke and Brute Force Evo, yet different in a lot of ways.  Web 2 Mayhem focuses a lot on placing and syndicating content on high quality trusted sites and pretty much avoids the low level stuff like profiles link building.

They also include their blog commenting software tool called Comment Kahuna as part of their repertoire of tools being offered so they pretty much give you every tool they’ve made so far and jumbled it all together to make Web2Mayhem.

I am recommending Web 2 Mayhem because it pretty much has everything you need to promote websites, syndicate content and they offer action plans that are easy to follow.  since nobody and nothing else offers all of this in once place, it gets a thumbs up…

I do not recommend Web2Mayhem because many of these features you see listed here are fluff pieces, and while the creators deserve credit for putting together a nice package of useful tools, these tools aren’t on their own, superior tools for the job they do.  Think of an all-in-one printer that does faxing, copying, printing etc… it is good and somewhat economical use of your money, but it does printer the best, it doesn’t copy the best, it doesn’t do the best job at faxing things, and same idea applies for Web2Mayhem, it has a lot of tools and features, but the only superior thing they have here is access to their Syndicate Kahuna network

Hi, I am the Marketing Director at HeySpread.
Thanks for this good article.
That is true, Tubemogul is a good service.

But you should really have a look at HeySpread for Professional Video Analytics and Video Distribution – http://bit.ly/5mD1CL. Far cheaper, with exclusive features such as YouClone (copy/paste your YouTube videos to any other platform automatically and in one shot), powerful and user-friendly interface, REST API for an easy and fast white label integration.

I took a look at Web2Mayhem but didn’t see any huge value, although, time saving would be good.

On link building, do you know of any high value networks offered by packages like SEONitro. I wanted to get into this but it closed before I signed up. I am/have used BLS, Linkvana, UAW, MyArticle Network. I am looking for a more exclusive version of these that will allow me to create my own network of sites. I don’t mind it costing ?

Thanks

Right, like my final review mentioned much of what it does can be obtained for one-time fee or is available for free elsewhere. There is good value for the newbies though, to help them get better organized and to get shoe-horned or pigeonholed into doing tasks for SEO that actually matter and are productive. Throw in some training on how to use the tools and it’s valuable to the right person.

SEONitro is closed, is run by Dori Friend, is closed to public. Here’s a screenshot of what is does, hard to tell what else it really does without being a member.

If you want to create your own network of blogs, then use BlogBot and Link Farm Evolution to create a whole slew of sites. While there’s value to having a huge network of blogs, it’s still a bit more work you add to your “plate” because you have to maintain that network with good quality content and get links to them to get them indexed, and really… you don’t own those WPMUs or blogger blogs or whatever…. so owning even a 650 blog network 100% would require that you have 650 domain names you own and control, and of course, you’d want them all on separate IP classes, too.

So the reality is you’ll never own a blog network unless you want to spend an absurd amount of money

Hey Daniel

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t want to create a blog network, I want to join a high end one like SEONito. The reason that network is good is Dori keeps places limited to 50 members. The price also means low end affiliate marketers who will spam the s**t out of it won’t join.

I am looking for an alternative i.e. if you have a good bit of cash to spend, do you have any recommendations that are above the $97 for products like BLS or $147 for Linkvana (I didn’t see any results from Linkvana).

I was hoping to get onto the waiting list for SEONitro but it seems Dori prefers her underground status, it’s very hard to find any contact details for her.

Thanks

OK, then, the next best alternative is to do guest author posts on highly ranked and relevant blogs. Time consuming, but also free

I disagree with you on this one. There are a TON of other tools you didn’t mention that the Web 2 Mayhem offers. Syndicate Kahuna being the most valuable of them all.
You seem like kind of an idiot.

Actually you’re the idiot seeing as you don’t seem to know how to read. I mentioned in this post that Syndicate Kahuna is where the real value is for this product/service, and I listed every item they had.

Not sure what your problem is, competing for SERPs or something?

Good luck to you,

Dan

I just wanted to know if you have tried traffic kahuna, it costs $150 a month but you seem to get the blog network with web2mayhem for a cheaper price. Is traffic Kahuna a rip off?

I doubt that Traffic Kahuna is a ripoff, seeing as how they continually closed their doors. I have not tried them yet though, haven’t been able to. Weird how Web2Mayhem members can get to use this service (TK) for less than cost of TK by getting the all in one web2mayhem product though.

“3 way linking can be had for $3.00/month or $7.00/month or whatever ALB is charging now.”

Whatever ALB is charging now? You own it. You don’t know what you are charging?

I’m trying to find an honest review on web2mayhem but it’s very difficult when everyone who posts an article is out to make a buck on their own.

#1- Calm down please
#2- ALB is my service yes and price goes up periodically so I wrote this blurb open-ended so I wouldn’t have to go back and update every price point mentioned for ALB wherever it might have been mentioned by me.

#3- If you don’t think you’ll find honest reviews on this site, then I suggest you take your blind angst elsewhere, sorry.

Thanks,

Dan
