Web2Mayhem Review Part 2 -Analyzing the Web2Mayhem Toolkit

In the  first part of this Web2Mayhem review we went over some of the tools and features that are part of the Web2Mayhem toolkit.

Syndicate Kahuna – Get Free Content

If you want some keyword-targeted content on your sites that you can publish after approving or just auto publish without checking, then this is a pretty good tool for you.

Value?: Well, it all depends on how much content you publish, how unique the content is, and there are dozens of free services that do the same thing for you.  My Article Network and Unique Article Wizard also provide free tools that allow you to auto-publish relevant content for free.

The reality:

If you stuff your sites will a whole bunch of free ,”unique” content that’s also being distributed elsewhere on ther networks you run the risk of turning your site into one that has upside down link juice because you’re publishing semi unique content and outwardly links 1-3 times per article published.

What you need to do to ensure that these articles rank well and to keep the link juice of your site in positive mode is to create some automated linking for each and every content piece that arrives on your site.

Syndicate Kahuna – syndicate articles to a blog network

Apparently Syndicate Kahuna has 10,000 niche blogs waiting for your content.  However, most blogs are NoFollow these days, and you don’t know how many will re publish your content, or how many articles actually get accepted by the blog owners in the network.

Typical concern there, and has nothing to do with Syndicate Kahuna’s network, it’s just the way things are with syndication to Blog Networks.

Value?: Same as My Article Network $47.00

ArticleFeeder – submit articles to their Page Rank 2 DoFollow directory

From what I can tell so far, this is a portal for submitting articles to other article directories and to the blog network.  The articles you submit also get auto-tweeted to the ArticleFeeder Page Rank 4 twitter profile.

Value?: Good value here, it’s a time-saver for sure, but the directory itself doesn’t rank its articles well, nor do the author names show up in the SERPs when Googling the names of the authors. When I did a search for some of the article titles on ArticleFeeder, I saw other article directories showing up but hardly saw any of the ArticleFeeder article urls in the SERPs. Real authoritative article directories will have your articles ranking well and your profile should rank well, too.

However, if ArticleFeeder is syndicating your articles to other, better article directories for you and auto-posting to their Twitter profile, too then there’s value to this.

PAD software submitter – submit free software and ebooks to shareware site(s)

Personally, not much value for me because I don’t create software, nor do I submit free ebooks.

• I don’t know how far this software syndication extends,
• I don’ t know how to submit free ebooks yet
• I don’  tknow where the ebooks would get submitted to,
• I don’t know how many ebook directories a free ebook of mine would get submitted to,
• I don’t know what the page rank is of the free ebook submission sites, if these sites are DoFollow, or if there’s a way to get recognized live active backlinks from ebook submissions.

Blog Network – Put your articles on their blog network

Seems to me this is a repeat of what Syndicate Kahuna does and what ArticleFeeder helps facilitate

Link Exchange – X-way linking or 3 way linking

Neurolinker and 3waylinks dot net charge $47.00/month for this.

ALB charges $3.00/month for this, soon to charge $7.00/month

Real world value?: $47.00/month

Web 2.0 Co-op – group social bookmarking

A co-operative venture whereby you bookmark other people’s urls and they bookmark yours.  It automated social bookmarking to a certain extent, but you need to do some bookmarking manually or through other software in order to earn credits for your bookmarking efforts, which leads to more backlinks for you if you do the work.

Value?: I’d gauge this at $17.00/month as a service by itself.

But since Neurolinker has this, too it doesn’t make Web2Mayhem worth it’s $127.00/month value, yet.  So far, I’d say web2Mayhem delivers a 47 + 17 = $64.00/month value (47 for its blog network, 17 for the we b co-op)

Redirect Kahuna – tracking and stats stuff.

Tracking and statistical analysis is always good to do, especially for measuring your rankings at a glance, so this is a good tool to have.  There are plenty of standalone tools that do this for you and they’re mostly free.

Keyword Research Tool –

The value of a keyword research tools is dependent on what you need from it, what information it delivers to you, and most importantly of all, where it’s getting its research data from.

If Web2Mayhem’s keyword research tool works like Market Samurai or paid version of WordTracker, then there’s a great value here.

I did a comparison between what Google’s Keyword Tools does and what Web2Mayhem’s keyword research tools does and the results are pretty much the same for average searches a month and top-searched-for terms.

I think Google’s KW tool is unreliable and misleading because it incorporates other potential sources for traffic into its numbers and gives a larger number than can be realistically expected for ranking #1 -3 for those terms.

Web2Mayhem would better serve it’s members by having something like Market Samuria does which shows what kind of traffic could be expected the #1 position and degree of difficulty for ranking for those terms.

Value?: ZERO, it’s the same thing as Google Keyword Tool

Keyword Manipulator Tool- remove duplicates, sort alphabetically, etc…

Could do this with keywords list generated by Google keyword tools, exprt kws list to notepad and do a search and replace or whatever…

Geography Keywords Tool – whatever

Longtail keyword Generator – whatever

Once you do all your initial set up, there’s even more set up to be done here.  Yeah, creating a syndication network takes effort and well worth it!

Web2Mayhem Software Part 4 – Web Page Analyzer

Not sure what this is supposed to do since the report bombed out, never got created, but the features below should give you a pretty good idea what its trying to analyze.

There are several keyword research tools and Firefox addons that can tell you a lot of this information at a glance (SEO Quake, SEO for Firefox addon).

Well, it took me about 2 1/2 hours to depict all this for you, next up is to get cracking using the system and services that Web 2 Mayhem offers.
