Post #1 of the Link Building Services – Different Types and Reviews series

There are are a variety of LinkBuilding services that work in various ways.

Reciprocal and X-way linking services:

One way link building – only getting incoming links

Reciprocal (2-way linking back and forth to link partners),

3-way linking and X-way linking (description below)

Reciprocal linking: 2 sites linking to each other, not as effective as it was years ago, but still works to some degree.   Site A  links to Site B, Site B links back to Site A – simple.

3-way linking: This is an adaptation/evolvement of reciprocal linking.

Generally speaking you link to someone’s site and they link to someone else, and eventually you get linked back to… So you give out links to get links here, too…

X-way linking: Goes a step beyond 3-way linking networks, which can be easily detected.  X-way linking needs more sites in order to work effectively, but it’s not as much of a closed circuit linking, so hopefully better at escaping detection by normal search engine spiders.

3 popular X-way linkbuilding services:

3waylinks.net - 3-way linking service: $47.00/month by Jonathan Leger, an SEO “guru”…

NeuroLinker.com - X-way linking service: $27.00/month.  Does what 3waylinks.net does but more, and for less.

AutomatedLinkbuilding.com - Does what 3waylinks.net does, but F.ree (at the time of this writing)

Google Annihilation -wanna-be 3waylinks and NeuroLinker, but not quite

The faults with 3-way and X-way linking services:

The links are not permanent, so you lose all your accrued links if/when you quit.

With 3waylinks.net you only get links to your main domain url, which means you’re not getting links to your sites’ inner pages, making your site “top-heavy”, and not lending links, and SEO weight to the rest of the sites’ pages.  So if you have only a few sites, you’re wasting money here, especially if you’re going after competitive terms.

The upside to this service is that you can add 50 sites to their network, which means you’re better off building a wider niche blog network of sites instead of trying to get all your niche traffic to one site.

Imagine having 50 sites dedicated to a certain keyword or keyphrase pertaining to your niche….

Do you have any idea how easy it would be to absolutely dominate your niche if you went after all the easier terms with each site, then linked them all towards the site that is dedicated to ranking highly for the hardest terms?

Now that’s worth $47.00/month!

Too bad people are so scattered with their focus that they’re still unsure of whether they want to “go niche” and stick with one niche until they dominate it (which is a widely propagated piece of guru advice, by the way), or to plug home biz opps and their niche sites, and what-not…

Too bad people put so much stock in the sales pages’ promises but don’t realize that they’re not optimizing their sites properly.  Many webmasters are not structuring their sites properly, and if they were, they’re not optimizing for the right keywords.

Too bad most link building services only provide training on the mechanics of using their service (this is how you get links, add a site, send a support ticket, use the forum etc…)

With NeuroLinker, you get the same deal as with 3WayLinks, but more advanced linking here, with X-way linking methods.  I suspect they don’t have as many sites in their network right now as 3WL, but they’re also offering links to any pages on your site that you want, not just backlinks to your main url.

I am currently not a member but am considering it for the following reasons.

NeuroLinker provides a bit more that 3WayLinks.net and that’s putting it mildly. However they have less sites than 3WayLink right now because they’re fairly new to the scene.

But NeuroLinker takes 3wayLink’s flaws and improves upon them by providing an X-way linking service which means it’s not really an easily detectable 3-way linking service (Site A-B-C and eventually back to you again).

NeuroLinker also allows you to place your sites in a category so when you DO get links you get links from relevant sites.

There’s a major flaw with this that I’ll get to later…

The upside to NeuroLinker is that there’s a social bookmarking feature on the backend which adds variety to the types of links you can get.

The next upside to NeuroLinker is that it’s cheaper than 3WL

AutomatedLinkBuilding - FINALLY working properly again.

3waylinkbuilding service just like 3WL and “kinda” like NeuroLinker in that you get links if you give out links.

Upside: It’s Free at the time of this writing

Downside: it wasn’t working properly for a long time due to some piss-poor programming which has now been corrected by an engineer.

Downside: Not a lot of blogs in the network yet, but there are some with decent Page Rank and ranking well for their terms already, so they must have some sort of link juice.

I know this to be true because ALB is my site and I can be as critical as I want about my own site, right?

Plus, with Automated LinkBuilding I try to provide some training beyond the “how to add a site to the network” video.

By the way, the video for that is right in the section where people would go to add a site, not in a forum or in another window… There’s a tip for all you membership site owners, don’t make your members jump through hoops to learn how to use your service.

Google Annihilation - Read this Google Annihilation review you will remain on site opens in same window).  that review and the resourc eit directs you to should give you enough details about this service

That’s it for the reviews on X-way linking services, their limitations, how they work, which one is the best deal, and what the best methods are to use with them

Now on to the 1-way link building services, which also are inherently flawed.

COMING SOON…  :)

Hey Daniel,
is there a reason why ALB is so ugly?
Do you try to scare customers away and only the ones who see beyond the superficial beauty stay? LOL
I consider joining…

Not sure if I’m to take you seriously here, but am open to suggestions?

What is ugly about it, the price?

It’s the lowest-cost effective 3 way links service on the market

Or is it something else?

Again not sure if you’re to be taken seriously here when you should have an “attitude of gratitude” for me providing this service at a cost that is pretty close to being free.
